  1. I have read through many threads about this and people seem to be suggesting different fuel pressures. Obviously it will depend on the car but am now not sure what I should be trying to set mine to. Any suggestions?
  2. Thanks soonto. Just had the same thought myself.
  3. Bringing this back to life . . . Eventually got a good enough day to work on the car yesterday!! As the car is so low, thought I'd check the fuel was getting to the engine first before raising her up to get to the fuel filter. When I opened the bonnet I found that my fuel pressure was zero so thought ok, fuel filter. Removed a hose from just before the fuel pressure guage and hey presto there was fuel. The fpg sits on a valve type thing? What is that? I tried to blow through it but couldnt get air to pass through so guessing no chance of petrol getting through? There was a screw on the top which I undid and tried again. This time air passed through lovely??? Connected it all back together and turned car over. Still same problem, turning over, trying to start but no joy. Removed the first spark plug and it was quite wet. Unfortunately light left me so am going to take them all out today, dry them out and clean them up. If it wont start then, I think I'm stuck.
  4. Very nice, looking good Fancy a trip down to Exeter? Sunday 4th March - check out the southwest meets. Be good to meet you.
  5. Believe me . . . when the poledancing was going on, people were looking at me like I was an alien

    Fuel Filter

Have tried Mr T in Exeter, but like everything else in Devon, they either dont know what it is, cant get it, or it costs 400% more than anything else. If anyone's got a spare one they are willing to sell, or any traders out there with quick access to one please let me know. Hoping to get the car back on the road this w/end and need one to hopefully get her started. Cheers in advance.
  9. NO WAY RICH!!!! Now who are we going to pole dance with at Exmouth in the summer??? Thinking of going the same way with ours though this year though too I can vouch for this car - its a lovely example and really quick. Even aliens have test driven this so it must be good!
  10. If I remember rightly, you wont have to do any until next year? You'll get something through in April then have September and January deadlines to complete them. You always work a year behind? But then - I'm the one struggling here so I could be very, very wrong.
  11. Tell me . . . . Forms are all filled in, its just the bit about paying . Getting it in the post first thing in the morning.
  12. Thanks for that Danny, but to say i understand . . . . To check: If I leave box 23.1 unchecked means I want my tax for 05/06 collectd through my tax code. So as I'm not sure how much I need to pay I can just leave that and they'll sort it for me?
  13. I'm new to all this and have managed to fill my forms in using the explanation notes, but am now a bit confused working out how much I've got to sen them before 31st Jan! Can I leave the box unchecked to say I want this years payment taken into consideration with my next years tax code? If so, that saves the panic, if not please help
  14. Hello Buster and welcome. Where abouts in Devon are you? Hope to see you in Plymouth in March, or Exeter services first sunday in every month (if I can ever get mine running again).
  15. I have scanned a worksheet I am using at school onto my computer. It has come up as an adobe file. Some of the details are wrong on the sheet and I need to change them on this scanned image to save me spending hours re-doing it from scratch. Can anyone tell me please how to edit the text?

  21. I think I was lucky to get to my location Jake before running out of - and I do hope its just a petrol issue.
