    New wheels

Gold do look nice Si, maybe just cleaning your old ones would help the appearance
  3. I'm guessing the set up has been like this about 12 months. Cant remember the name of the pumps having a bit of a mare this morning - began with E? Fuel pressure was reading 60psi yesterday. Could my problem have been because I did the longest journey in her on Sunday - over three hours
  4. I'm on to it! Got to find a pot with a spare £900 in then I can place my order and pay up. Will do this today when I can get to the bank in town.
  5. Ive got 910 injectors so surely they need a good feed. The turbo is hybrid, had a bit of work done to it, apparantly and I quote turbo dynamics, it can do more? You are right, single would be easier
  6. Thats great - theres always something to do on the supra. btw - can you fit rltc on a Saturday?
  7. I'm guessing I'm probably about there Alex. Car is set up and ready to take much more, but keeping it down because of the standard autobox.
  8. Thanks for the offer Martin, managed to re-wire through the plug so kept the connector in place. Any ideas how to prevent this happening again? Obviously need the plug to fill the gap on the top but dont want to have this happen again. Obviously need to use an bigger ampage wire but still going to have the same problem through the pin on the plug which is where it burnt out am I not??
  9. That sounds interesting, that way you're not putting too much power through one cable. Yes gz I think I was pretty lucky too. You never know what might've happened. Now I've re-connected through the plug, omitting the fuel guage wires. Tomorrow for temperary measure I'm going to rewire using a bigger cable as now this cable is still getting quite warm! Just need a new plug and then I think I'm going to use your advice Lee.
  10. I'm sorry for the repetition but think its important people see this (copied from my thread 'help wont start' ). http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=69836 Quote: Originally Posted by whitesupraboy2 any clues to why it burnt out? dont wana put a new one in just for it to happen again Ok, I've got two pumps, so two wires joining to one, both taking its +ve feed through one pin in the standard plug. 12. Gets worse. I've got two pumps, both being powered through the single power cable, hence its burnt out. Its burnt right down to the fuel tank . . so bit lucky me thinks. Checking out the damage now to see if I need one pump or two
  13. Cant get back without one, can do it here if I can get a pump or even try just changing the connectors. Bank Holidays eh??
  14. Sussed it!!! Dodgy connection into pump, burned out both connector on the pump and the one going into it!!! Anyone got one I can have?
  15. Thanks for that osso. I'm trying to find out how to re-set the alarm perhaps, but might just disconnect the battery for a while and see if that helps. Clutching at straws, and they're getting shorter by the minute
  16. ok, still no fuel pump noise, but car started for about 5 secs then cut out again. Doesnt want to start again now though. Happy Bank Holiday
  17. Wondering that myself. Does anyone know how to re-set a Clifford?
  18. Thanks osso, all fuses are ok in the engine bay. Is there any relevent fuse in the drivers footwell? Will go locate the fuel pump relay if I can
  19. Travelled 220 miles, pulled up at my destination, engine cuts - wont re-start. Thought I might be low on petrol so put 10 litres in. Still nothing. Turn the ignition, cant hear the fuel coming through. Undid the hose to the fuel rail, cranked over and nothing - no fuel. Where do I start???

Knowing my aim Si, I'd probably miss the cat and put a hole through my windscreen

Like what Piston? Its gotta be better than claw scratches surely? I've got an all over cover on my boat, made of similar breathable material. Ok the material fades and looks naff anfter a while, but the boat underneath is fine. Anything?
