  1. So what should i do now? Al this for a b****y **ck*** b***a** horn
  2. Great in position one - dead in position two. Any idea which fuse might have blew, or at least where to start looking - engine bay or drivers footwell I'm also running AEM Terminator, but thanks anyway. Cant believe how stupid I was . . rushing to get the job done!!! Oh - btw, Nos shouldt have been drawing any current me thinks as it was at the time disconnected at the other end??
  3. Tell me - stuck at work today so I'm going to be a little distracted from my work. Tried to turn her over this morning and was having exactly the same problem as last night so guess I'm going to have to try a quick charge tonight and hope. At a show on Sunday so you bet this wont be an easy one, and I'll find out i need a part 5 mins after everywhere closes.
  4. Me too. Car started fine about two hours earlier so not sure about the battery. but will keep my fingers crossed.
  5. I was hoping it could just be a flat battery - the car hasnt moved for over three weeks But usually you get a clicking sound when its trying to turn over. Wished I'd had a couple of more hours of light!!
  6. No turbo timer - yet. Its next on my shopping list.
  7. Hazzards are working, but dont know if the car was after as I put all the plugs back in before trying to start her. How did you solve yours then after that?
  8. Dont think so - tightened it after doing my fuel pumps on Sunday, not touched it since.
  9. It was an after market switch for my Nos. It has three pins on the back which said ac, live, ground I think and I had two red wires and a black one, so I put the black on the ground Havent checked the engine bay fuses as it was by then dark. But if I'd blown a fuse, surely nothing would happen on first turn of key?
  10. Ok - earlier thread, needed to supply a cable through my bulkhead for my horn. Took dash apart and managed to get one through. Put dash back together, put connectors on. All ok apart from the last connector which is an extra switch which 3 cables go onto the back. It was going dark and I thought I had the cables on right, except when I put the last one on I had a little blue spark - then I realised that a) I hadnt removed the negative on the battery, and b) the keys were in the ignition and it was on (I know, plank - but I had been checking each connection as it had gone back on to make sure it was working) I straight away thought blown fuse, but checked everything and it seemed to be working. Up until I came to start the engine. Key in - one turn, everything fires up, on dash, lights, stereo, fuel pumps etc. Second turn - everything goes off. What have I done - any ideas?
  11. Thanks guys - cable is through and ready to connect up tomorrow.
  12. Time to take all of the dash off then??
  13. Not really technical but it bloody is to me Ok, my horn has never worked since I've had the car. I have now started to fit Ring twin air horns. I've found the old horn and looked at the wiring and connectors, but nothing seems to be where it should. So I have taken this out and fitted my twins there. I have wired it all up through the relay but now need to take a cable from the front of the car, through the bulkhead and upto the steering wheel. On my hands and knees looking for a way through - now feel sick and feel like bringing my dinner back - half my dash removed trying to find a ray of light So - wheres the easiest point to get a 1mm cable through??? Please???
  14. Yep you're on, but you'd have to return it tank full MK - the car park where you've posed in for your garage potos looks really familiar. Where is it?
  15. Dont know - will have to check my busy schedule. Torn now as its boating season . . . . still trying to master the wakeboarding larky
  16. You're right I think. Have you got a laptop? Just plug your ecu in and pretend its a graphic equaliser. Just keep changing settings until you get more base I'm not going to tell you how I did it unless I know its solved it I actually dont think I've done anything and that the cars just running a bit faster as it wants to go for a drive. Its sat for nearly three weeks and not moved more than 50 metres Anybody want to hire a Supra?
  17. All work and no play makes Rich a dull boy Catch up soon x
  18. Think so thanks Jazz - you know what its like with these bloody Supras. No job on the car has ever been easy and straight forward. Still might have a slight and inconsistent stalling problem but have raised the revs slightly and it hasnt happened since - but then again it hasnt moved much recently. Roll on the weekend.
  19. Me going shopping tomorrow. For blister plasters
  20. Yeah but what about the car Rich How you doing matey? Missed you, but we havent been out and about for a while Are you working on Sunday? We are showing at the Southwest Motor Show at Newton Abbot
  21. OOOhhhhhh some good advice there. Think I might stay with the 'not new' look. Will look out for that Meguirs stuff though, and will try gunk and elbow grease instead for now.
  22. Ok. That got me back for my comment the other day Kettle goes next to the coffee percolater!!!!!
  23. Rotten - No! Fair - Maybe
  24. I was going to use gunk and my steam cleaner - it works on my oven - , minus the gunk of course
