  1. Did they roll them or shave them gaz? I've heard that you can lose some of the arch shape when rolling them as the material is quite thick.. did they fold them all of the way up?
  2. I doubt the colour & condition will bother the king of bling!! He'll have them looking like new in no time!
  3. & Nice car! I lke the colour! Looks like you've done a decent job of fitting the kit.
  4. I'd be surprised if they didn't looking at the spoke design!
  5. I saw a few of these when i was over in Tokyo & quite like them tbh They're very similar to the Aristo and are supposed to be really good for drifting...
  6. CORONA STAIN In the automotive trade corona stain is commonly known as the light brown or rusty stain found on a spark plug operating at normal temperature (or so says a promotional video from NGK) However we tend to beleive that the term "Corona stain" should be used in conjuction with a hard night on the booze (namely "corona") and a visit to the bogger the morning after, hence creating a "rusty or brown corona stain" around the toilet or on ones undergarment that appear to have a hazey "ring around saturn" appearance
  7. Sounds like a plan Mike If we go to the Ribble Pilot on a different day to Monday, then i'll probably be able to make it!
  8. I don't see why the NW monthly meet HAS to be on the same night as Mascrat??
  9. I would of ticked the elsewhere box but i've got a feeling 'elsewhere' would mean further north than Mascrat & the Noggin etc.... They're about my limit distance wise, on a Monday night anyway..
  10. Wow! I've always had a soft spot for vettes... I wonder if they'll do a RHD version of this new one?...

    Son Of Rambow

wow, it is actually a real film! I thought it was another April fool joke! Looks ok for a kids film! http://imdb.com/title/tt0845046/
  12. Good april fool! Did anyone see one on xbox live advertising the new accessories? On a good note, looks like the new Metal Gear Solid is going to be awesome!!
  13. I also had another NA diff break on me where the pinion bearing collapsed Luckily i was only travelling at 30mph on a straight road when the rear wheels locked up and the car started to snake around. I daren't imagine what would of happened if i'd of been travelling down the motorway! Thankfully, i've not heard of this happening to anyone else so i guess i was just unlucky... See pics below; I've dismantled a few NA diffs now and the crown wheels seem to be really strong. I've not seen one with any signs of wearing on the teeth. The one below stood up well to being jammed with pinion bearings!
  14. Yes, here is a photo of Animal's diff when it broke. 2 of mine have gone in exactly the same way. There was a thread recently where it had happened to someone else so it seems like a weak point on the NA. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=142664 http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=123167 http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=31785
  15. What condition & how old is your SMIC?.. Still sounds like you might have a slight boost leak and it can't hold the increased pressure..
  16. Yes, definitely.. I’ve stripped the teeth off two different NA diffs and this was on a stock NA You’ve only got to search on here to see that lots of other NA diffs have failed this way too.. The best bet would be to buy the TRD LSD and fit this inside the NA diff. IIRC the NA diff and the TT auto diff have the same (small) casing. The TRD diff should be good for big power as Envy run it on their drag supra. This is what I’m doing with my NA-TT conversion as I wouldn’t expect the NA diff to hold out for long. As mentioned earlier though, It’s a good idea to fit the extra bushing to the subframe to make the diff more stable and prevent wheel hop
  17. ... Well the subframes are still the same but the TTs did have an extra diff bushing (The NAs still have the mounting point for it).... You can get the bush from Toyota or Nic does them a bit cheaper
  18. I know! Bargain! Kerbside delivery only though!
  19. I thought this was an April fools joke at first! http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500001001&langId=-1&searchTerms=7056583 Is this the most expensive thing they sell then?
  20. Matt, she said crack IN her skirt!! Not up it!! Depending on how big it is you'll probably get away with a bit of body filler, rub it down & then touch up over the top of it
  21. What gearbox are you running? the TT auto one? You will need the TT diff and the TT propshaft as the NA won't fit.. The rear subframes are the same. Not all TT's had an LSD diff Another option would be to keep your current set up and buy the TRD LSD to fit. Nic does them at a reasonable price
