Yeah, i think the lid is optional. It looks just a bit too DIY with it on. All the other ones i have seen just use the bonnet as a seal. Nice tip about the cocktail sticks paul I'll be making one of these soon so i'll give that a go! -

That can't be good for your turbo's surely?.. I thought increased boost with the first cat in = lots of heat = turbo failure! It's happened to lots of people on here. The turbo's just break to bits because of the intense heat!.. I'd get the first cat removed asap and fit a restrictor ring Edit - have a look here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=139380
