Yep, i've got both UK & J-spec decats in my garage. Both have 3 holes where they connect to the turbo but the uk's are further apart... I'm pretty sure you've got a j-spec decat there

This happened to me last week with my toad alarm! I changed the battery and even got a lift home to get my spare fob but to no avail. Tried opening with the key but the alarm went off and wouldn't stop so i had to pop the bonnet and pull the negative cable off the battery!. I ended up calling the RAC and it turned out that the signal was jammed by phone masts etc.. (he tested it with a little box he had).. I couldn't believe it but we pushed the car up the road & the alarm worked!! I thought this was a one off thing but turns out it happened to a guy at work the other day too.. This was a factory alarm on his Impreza!!

I'm guessing the crank pulley separated when they took it off. They are like one metal ring inside another one & joined with rubber (that's how it dampens). This perishes over time and then separates! Your lucky it didn't happen on the way to Le Mans! I got a 2nd hand one from Jody T when mine broke. I know Paul Whiffin usually has them in stock or maybe able to get them quickly. You could also give keron a shout. There was one on my old engine but I’m not sure if he's still got it... Oh and NA / TT ones are the same
