That really sucks Paul but I’m a big believer in that 'things happen for a reason'.. Maybe it just wasn't meant to be. Maybe the new buyer will pick it up & the engine will drop out within a week

I'd do the noggin as it's still a do-able distance for me. It might be a good idea to give them a call to let them know were coming I also like the idea of having it on a separate night to the JNW meet (thanks mike ). As I’ve said before, I have quite a few friends that attend in cars other than supras and its good to catch up and have a chat on a monthly basis. That's the only reason I still went to Mascrat after the first incident! I've also recently started talking to a few new people there and they're a really nice bunch

What condition are your diff bushes in? (The two that mount the rear of the diff to the subframe) If these are badly worn it would certainly contribute to wheel hop.

Not sure if everyone was aware but there was a Subaru convoy at the weekend from the McRae home in Lanark to the Prodrive test track in Warwickshire. 1086 cars turned up at the track and spelt out 'Colin McRae' which could be seen by planes going to and from Birmingham airport. One of my mates took part & said it was a great day out. Apparently they set a new world record! Wow! That V8 sounds immense!! How easy does it spin up? lol.. He makes it look quite easy, I’d of probably ploughed through the barriers and taken a few people out!
