Tried and tested by many members on here. They're not too loud either. I bought one when I first got the supra but swapped to a nur spec R a few years later as I wanted something louder. It was in almost the same condition when I took it back off. You could just get one of these and a 2nd decat pipe?
  3. Have you got the clocks/dials with it? Facelift/V161 has the odometer built in so this would help to verify the mileage. When I got my V161 from Jurgen, it had the dials/odometer with it which gives that extra bit of re-assurance.
  4. Looks like a Top Secret GT300 Supra at 2:04 Orange, bottom left Maybe this one? http://www.2040-cars.com/Toyota/Supra/1994-toyota-supra-141927/
  5. I'll take one too. Let me know the payment instruction & I'll send it over
  6. There's a thread on supraforums somewhere that tells you all the differences. Obviously the gear ratio change was the main one but from what I remember the synchros were also updated too (which seem to be a problem on some v160s) and also the case had extra visible strengthening on the outside (webbing pattern) Toyota must have decided the redesign was for a reason. It's worth noting some of the late model V160s also had the redesigned case with extra webbing pattern (just to make identifying between the two more difficult lol)

Do you leave near a school? (I work in one). It was the last GCSE exam on Monday and I overheard quite a few students talking about burning their ties/uniform etc afterwards lol. If other things got burned in the process I wouldn't be surprised (e.g. Leaving gifts, teddy bears etc). Just trying to help you feel less worried? If it was a racist attack it seems to be a very cryptic one
  8. Buy; http://www.halfords.com/motoring/engine-oils-fluids/antifreeze/halfords-oat-antifreeze-concentrate-5-litres and http://www.halfords.com/workshop-tools/garage-equipment/car-battery-chargers/halfords-battery-top-up-water-5l Job done. Even cheaper if you've got a trade card or know someone who has. This was recommended by some members on here. I've been using it for a few years and have had no problems.
  9. Hi Paul! Yeah, it was a shame you couldn't make it. I'll be getting to as many meets as possible this summer (except the big one which I cant make) so we'll definitely have a catch up at some point. It'd be great to see you
  10. Great meet tonight & really nice to meet some new faces. Thanks for organising it Ray! I'm looking forward to the next one now
  11. I didn't think I could make this but I've managed to get out of work early so I'll have a drive over. Sorry for the short notice! I think my mate Tom will be coming too as he lives in Holmes Chapel which is on the way.
  12. The trouble is the TT auto box is pretty limited to 500bhp with extra gearbox coolers etc.. To go any higher you would need a built auto box or some way of going manual (both very £££) Sounds like a nice car though from the spec. Even though they aren't my cup of tea, the wheels are very rare and expensive (discontinued now though I think) Welcome to the club btw
  13. Any use? There were some of these parts for sale recently but could be sold now http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?334043-Front-bumper-related-stuff-**BRAND-NEW-OEM-PARTS**&highlight=52535-14070
  14. Did it fail on emissions? or the fact no cat was fitted? As far as i'm aware, the new(ish) rules say that if the car originally came from the factory with a cat fitted then it has to be present for the MOT. Regardless of whether it passes emotions or not. It does say on facebook that it failed for 'no cat'. Either way i'd be fuming. I'd probably be annoyed if he'd posted pics of my car for a positive reason let alone what he's written. At least without asking first anyway
  15. What a great day out! A last minute decision from me to dust off the supra and have a drive up but I'm glad I did. Nice to meet you Christian and great to see Ian again after such a long time Now the supra is out of hibernation I'll definitely make an effort to get to the next NW meet
  16. It may have been mapped under the assumption it's stood still in a garage just idling. Even if it has to do a fast idle test isn't that 2500rpm? It depends on how it was driven on the motorway. I'm sure it will have seen more than 2500rpm and some kind of boost though which it probably wasn't mapped for in lean mode? I'm no expert though. Maybe running lean did just melt the coil packs & hopefully it's an easy fix
  17. Hi David, I'm probably reading that wrong so bear with me but... does that table say that Pre facelift torsons were a worm gear type and Facelifts were hexical type? I never knew that if it's true? Also, the table suggests that every diff in a supra has 49 teeth on the crown wheel. I'm sure I saw a post the other day with a table saying some had 47? I remember thinking to myself that I would open the diff I've got in the shed to check if it's a facelift 6spd NA or TT. Thanks.
  18. I thought lean mode was for the MOT? So that it will pass the emissions test without cats? Hope it's ok. Fingers crossed for you
  19. It should fetch a decent price as it's an aerotop and black. Perfect for a 6 speed TT/Single conversion
  20. 'Reserve not met' though so it could be anything
  21. I didn't have a clue what you were on about so I googled it; Someone has fitted them but looks like a full custom job & doubt it was easy. Not my cup of tea but they do look kind of cool
  22. I might be wrong but I think that if you hit fuel cut it stores as error code 34 on the ECU? According to the manual it's triggered every time you're holding over 1 bar for more than 2 seconds. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=13922&d=1112558346 You would definitely notice this when overtaking. Also, it would happen more on a cold day/night where boost would be naturally higher. In terms of the spark plugs. I think it's more the heat rating of it than the gap. You're practically full BPU. I'm not technically minded enough to know whether using a grade 6 instead of 7 would cause you to run rich and have lower MPG but there are plenty of people on here that will know I'd add a boost gauge to your shopping list as well as a great safety precaution if nothing else
