  1. How did worn bushes stop the whole car from moving??
  2. LMAO! ;D Try this; http://tinyurl.com/3agwmff
  3. Also - make sure you tighten the nuts up in the correct order! This is where i went wrong. Too much one side and 'Crack' lol! Here's a guide from on here that shows you how to do it; http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpost.php?p=2841386&postcount=6
  4. To be fair, the cam covers can crack very easily! I managed to do it fitting my polished ones and after searching on here it seems quite a few other people have done it too. I went out and bought a 1/4 inch torque wrench that went low enough to 5.4nm just for this job as i didn't fancy cracking the 2nd set of polished ones. 5.4NM is not very tight at all. Not much tighter than hand tight. If you're quite heavy handed (like me) it's easy to cause some damage lol!
  5. It's 5.4 NM according to the workshop manual. I know because i recently changed my cam covers
  6. New ones from Toyota are only around £80ish.. I tried a couple of 2nd hand one when mine packed in but they didn't last very long. I think these things just die with a mixture of old age + heat.
  7. Such a sad loss RIP Alan My thoughts are with you and your family
  8. That's just ridiculous! I love the picture from the back!

  10. I've only just seen this. What a brilliant idea! I just wish there was one a bit closer to me
  11. I've not got a credit card either & have never had one. I've just made do with a debit card. Is it true that it's worth getting a credit card and barely/not using it so that you can build up a credit rating?
  12. Have you looked closely at the ECU to see if any of the pins are broken off/missing?
  13. Looks like that's for a MK3 supra not the MK4. It talks about slackening the AC pump to remove the belt. All MK4's have a tensioner pulley. There's a good guide on here somewhere with pics etc that i used Edit :- Here it is http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=65774
  14. Seems like a good price to me! W58's are becoming hard to find. Last time i was after one most of the quotes i was getting were £350+, that's just for the box. Good luck with the sale

    Halo:Reach

I went on about 12ish last night & it seemed like all the servers had crashed. my mate couldnt get on either. Played through the first few missions on single player though & i'm mighty impressed! Can't wait to get back on it later!

    Halo:Reach

Thank god for that! My mrs has just txt to say she got me a copy today. I've liked all the others so i'm pretty sure this one will be good
  17. I'm at work all day but i've sent the mrs out to try and get me a copy. Is it likely to be one of those sold out everywhere games? Wish i'd pre-ordered it now, didn't realise it was out so soon
  18. Also, Michael had a aux belt tensioner for sale; http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=220628&highlight=aux+belt+tensioner
  19. That's a joke! Can you not order the parts from somewhere else, get them sent to the garage and then just pay them the labour to fit? I know Whiffbitz do crank pulleys for about £180! (including vat & delivery) I bought one fairly recently.

    inbetweeners

You won't be disappointed!! It's well funny!!
  21. If it's the same problem i was having then no. I replaced the release bearing and the pilot bearing and it made no difference. I was told by a mechanic that it was likely to be the main shaft bearing inside the gearbox. Does the noise go away if you push the clutch in a little bit?
