The cars' got a few scratches here and there, some of which are going a bit rusty. I knew a guy who was excellent at touch ups and made scratches look like they had never happened. Unfortunately I moved and too far away for him to travel. Anyone know anybody in the surrey area?

no traction control eh? thought it was a bit on the lively side as my confidence has been growing. better not tell the girlfriend that! Had a bit of a twitchy ride over to casualty the other night with her crapmed up in the back and a pupil with a badly damaged shoulder in the passenger seat! back came out alot on some of the more extreme corners.

Being a neewbie of unbelievable ignorance. I would like to know if my SZ has a traction control button, where it is located and any related stuff. I have trawled the search and I'd like to know more. Cheers for any help:baby:

I got to take my supra out for its first proper drive last night, what an absolute bloody joy! I've had a few cars before but this one is truly fantastic. Drove out to a pub in East Grinstead for a meal with the missus and secretly the best part was getting there and getting back (and the meal was great aswell!). I forgot the sensation that you get when you can pull away from a tail gater that is Pissing you off. I also beat some berk off the lights witout having to break conversation with the person sitting next to me and then watch thier head lights dissapear to pin pricks in the distance. And all this fun for such a small price!! While I'm at it I'd like to thank everybody who has given me help and advice. You guys found me a garage for servicing, info about auto gearboxes and much more. Its almost enough to make you well up!!

so light on, on the dash = O/D off= faster acceleration because of fewer gears? ( seems to be the case after a bit of road testing)

Does it affect fuel economy much? (not that I got the car because of its economy)

Only had my SZ for a couple of week and have just discovered the 'overdrive' button nestled below the gear change button (apologies for lack of tech' terminology). This has apparently been pressed in since Ive had the car, does it make much of a difference to performance??? Cheers for any comments and thanks for all the guys and gals who have suggested some nearby garages. (decided to eventually go with Phoenix).

I got a Supra SZ auto at the weekend and want to get it serviced. I'm in the Caterham area of Surrey and seen at least a couple of members driving around. Anyone know of any good mechanics around my area? Cheers for any help!
