  2. Maybe you should become a teacher? or get a better union;) (what do you do for a living?? )
  3. Inner city london! that area is the stuff of legend. Honestly I'm surprised your supe maintains wheeled status each day if parked outside. If I'm being honest I moved over to the private sector in september and thankfully things are nothing like the above rant (apart from the school owning your soul and the illness on holidays). The kids are alot better because they can boot out any troublemakers without many problems. and Im an art teacher so marking isnt all that bad. BUT you guys in state have it hard! Used to work near in a comp' near Reading. Man was that a struggle. It was like the whole time.
  4. You spend the majority of the day fire fighting behavioral problems from the kids because excluding them can't happen easily due to government inclusion policy. You spend the evening marking the work they do. You spend the generous holiday time being ill because the adrenaline wears off and the multitude of school viruses cane you. Every poxy fibre of you is commited to the job and then they expect you to finish another 5 years later??? (by the time I retire it'll have gone up to 85 no doubt!). Dont even get me started on the pay (teachers dont get paid overtime).
  5. Apart from the traffic wardens I think the whole thing sucks. I dont want to be one foot in the grave after providing a lifetime of service.
  6. so a decat and new exhaust. How much roughly for that. I need to work out how many boxes of chocs/ flowers I will need to change opinions from " You went and did what! " to "what ever makes you happy:kiss:"
  7. Mark said that the whole induction kit would raise the performance by about 30 bhp but there is always an outside chance that this might have been something else. Any advice on good bpu's for an NA?
  8. So an induction kit not really worth it on an NA? and sorry for questioning the price for the shocks I am very much still a newb' Mark must have been talking about the standard ones:imsorry:
  9. £400! sounds a little steep for my budget, after getting someone to install them I'm probably looking at around £500? What are those for £222 like?
  10. Phoenix in Watford, Reasuring to see so many supras sitting around.
  11. Had a service done on the supe at Phoenix on saturday (bloody good job done by Mark) and It was mentioned that I should be looking at getting some new front shock absorbers. I know there are a great many around and I'm after a few opinions on what would be good for a non modded NA. I'm not after anything too pricey cos' I'm also looking at getting one of those replica front spoilers from Whifbitz and maybe a new induction kit. Any advice is very welcome. (and thanks for those of you that mentioned Phoenix for a service).
  12. Gym lesson at school using weights and sitting astride a bench. The gym teacher walks past, nods and then sniggering she walks off and out of the room. After carrying on pumping iron and admiring my efforts in the long mirror opposite, I then notice the errant testicle that has popped out of the gym shorts and must have been getting aired for at least 15 minutes.

in which case what does TC cost and who is it best to get it from?
  14. It was an accident, I was doing a display whilst standing on a chair whilst some bothersome tyke whinged on about something or other. Anyway turned and clenched the hand with the gun in it, took a glancing shot to the stones. Kid winced as I plucked the staple out. no serious damage done:blush:
  15. Staple-gunned a testicle by accident once whilst at school.
  16. its amazing the variety of bucket shapes you can get these days.

So... The soop is a bit of an unforgiving bastard then:blink: . I had a scooby a couple of years back. That clung to the road like glue. Is the soop good round corners? I havent had the stones to try it out esp after the ass clenching moments Ive had so far. Still trying to get accustomed to the apparently variable acceleration of the auto gearbox too (do enjoy the auto though:D )

    Near misses

Had my first biggy the other day. I didnt think I was being particularly heavy on the pedal but the ole' rear wheels did. After a few tense moments of intense wobbly acceleration and looks of panic from the renault behind me. things were fine but no TC certainly makes a difference. Anyone else had any dodgy moments?
  23. contacting chips-away cheers for the heads up!!
  24. Its a possibility, hoping for a little nearer, the guy that did the last job drove up in his little van full of paint and sorted the job in the school car park!
