was that with the knuy guys (or something like that)? I got an imobiliser fitted will it be easy to cut a whole in the stuff or should I get it repositioned?

that glue is a fuppin' bakstad to get off! Some may consider it tacky but I'm drawn to the carbon fibre clip ons. I think Nic's looks fantastic and I know its not a clip on. I'm going to have a look at e-bay and see what I can find. I would try and paint but the trouble is I live on site in a boarding school and I have a parking space and thats about it. I'll continue to look.

right then, alot of divided opinion on remodelling the dash board. some say paint it, others say carbon fibre. If I knew how to set up a poll I would, but I dont so your honest opinions please. Paint, or carbon fibre (or walnut ) Right I'm off to try and white spirit off as much old Japanese glue as possible before Jamesmarks' alcohol arives!

To everyones relief including my Girlfriends' the appalling walnut is no more. I have now instead opted for the '11 year old glue effect' which I cant seem to shift for love nor money (tried white spirit Squiffy and it aint shifting). my second question is "how do I get the new dash effect to fit over the imobiliser or do I have to get a guy to come out?"

does it come off easy, do I need to prime it and with what? what do I remove the glue with. I really dont want to cack the whole thing up even more!!!

right ho then, bad walnut effect is out of there. Anyone recomend a good replacement is it easy to do???? Bearing in mind I may as well have one hand when it comes to doing stuff myself! Squiffy what did you do? does it come off easy?

hi there, I tried to remove a grubby old phone holder from my dash today that belonged to the previous Japanese owner and successfully removed a sizable section of wood effect veneer. The whole effect now looking rather shite (please view attached image). My question is go for a new dash cover or cover it with a better phone holder?

Just came back from a class holiday in Tunis. Heartily recomend it to anyone! Saw the Sahara, rode a camel, went off road in a Toyota Patrol 4x4, saw the smaller coloseum where I think they filmed Gladiator adn didnt get any nasty belly complaint! Didnt someone else from the club go too?
