  1. cup of coffee made by the gf, I snooze with my head in her lap while watching 'everyone loves raymond' (not all that good but too un bothered to change the channel)
  2. he's suffered low points before. This one was coming on just before he met a girl and he tried to hide it away making it much worse in his opinion. She proptly legged it. The place he was working in shut down and his dream of setting up in portugal has been put on hold. Lots to choose from I'm afraid.
  3. thanks for all the support guys. how do you go about getting back on track or is it just time. I know I'm being very blokey about finding a solution to a problem:( . One of the things he said yesterday was that he didnt know where to begin. Like me he is a ceramist and he hasnt made anything in a while. Was suggesting that he should just try and make something the wrong thing to do?
  4. Thanks red, It was horrible seeing a best mate so low.
  5. A good mate of mine has reached a desperate low point. He is suffering from serious depression and has been put on diazipan (sorry for spelling) I have never seen him like this before. Normally the life and soul, when I saw him yesterday he now looks ten years older and a real shell of his former self. If anyone has any advice about helping please pass on any wise words.

    Joke

absolutely brilliant, just snorted coffee down a new tie
  7. er. yes, well as it happened it did turn out to be rather fierce the small wooden and paper 'viking burial ship' burnt suprisingly quickly as it was prodded out across the pond. This promptly disintergrated and everything, fish included, bobbed around on the surface much to the disgust of everyone involved plus a couple of tears from the girls. Should have thought it through a bit more.
  8. Bill, Ted is fine by the way, currently cleaning a plant.
  9. some members of 3A created a little boat for him and I found a fresh cylinder of butane. She will be cast off into the lake with full viking honours. I understand penguins' dads' anger though. I have to say my first reaction bordered on rage as opposed to sorrow. sort of like coming back to the car park and finding a ding/ scratch.
  10. To acompany the dismal weather when I arrived at work and switched on the little tank light I saw to my horror as the light strobed to life, that one of my little shoal had expired over the weekend. She was the last of the breeding pair that I had. My class suggested a Viking burial.
  11. Upstanding How refreshing that there are still people around like you, who respect society and the law. Your Grandparents would be proud. You have a good knowledge of the law and a good public spirit, or you have rarely left the house… Either way - keep it up old fruit! Based on your answers, we have calculated the maximum penalty for your crimes*: Years in prison: 0.5 Potential fine: £0
  12. in fact, they should make no 1 so!
  13. Maybe we should organise some kind of Jap flare event. Any suggestions beyond sacrificing a saxo ( although we could still do this)? and has anyone actually tried lighting one yet?
  14. found a hand flare in mine. Are those actually legal here? Always fancied giving it a go and prance around like that taxi driver in that RHCP video!
  15. go on, eat the gum, eat the guuuummmmm
  16. I liked it, Ted the shrimp liked it too:d
  17. and dont forget that if you use the japanese red button to change gear when in off and parked, the car will only start again when it is back in 'P'. I discovered this to my cost and thought my imobiliser was playing up. Nearly had to call someone out, then realised what I had done. What a silly billy:blush:
  18. some of them look ok to me esp the carbon ones that people have shown. (better than walnut)
  19. good for the confidence and the wallet!
