Hey mate, BigCC built. It's basically the full package they do, fully built engine/gearbox/chargecooler 8 injector kit. GT3076 turbo, MTC lockup clutch. It was about £20k to build but they do lower spec ones on stock engine.

It's a wild ride but you get use to it.

Speedo is way out with the drag 18/46 gearing, looks good though I went through the line at 165mph

I'd rather your K8 over RC8R any day, but it is nice to have various bikes. I want a big tourer in the fleet now, fancy an R1200GS

If you can afford it I'd recommend getting something a little newer that has fuel injection. All FI bikes are much nicer to ride I think.

Had mine done at Walton Motorsport, £1500 for full 3.5" turbo back, very high quality work. It's probably a bit cheaper on a supra as I have two exits on the M3.

I wouldnt take the vbox on dragonball, you don't want to be breaking a diff or driveshaft out there. -

Sounds good, you sound like you're in right frame of mind to stay safe. It's a dangerous hobby but bloody good fun.

That be ok, they are a big old lump but easy to ride. Just take your time, everyone thinks they can ride after a few weeks on the bike. I do about 9000 miles a year on my bikes and I'm still learning. Best thing is to go out with experienced riders. You soon pick up the best way to ride. Always expect them to pull out on you, be ready! I always cover my brakes with one finger, even when accelerating.

I haven't read the full thread, but I had same problem, all of a sudden lumpy idle and stalling. My VVTI solenoid had failed. new one fitted and problem solved.

I use sky, for my car and bikes. This year they have been brilliant again for me. Agreed value and all mods covered, I always have a good ring round and they killed the competitions prices.

You can wear two piece leathers on track as long as they zip together.

Isn't the alpinestars MX a motorcross boot? No good on a sports bike, you won't be able to move. I like Arai lids for the most. Smx boots. I got a few different sets of leathers, alpinestars stuff is nice, RST is decent value and good gear.
