  1. That looks good Abz, I don't want a digital screen though, Boost gauge is the only gauge I want, Syvecs can look after everything else. I think I will just put one in place of the clock, I've got a watch after all.
  2. Does look good, more money than I want to spend though.
  3. You are asking for an estimated value Lee, How many miles has the car done? I can't guess. 20,000 or 120,000 miles make a huge difference to the price.
  4. I've never pulled a facelift dash apart before, I'm still going to look at it, I might be able to get one in there, even if it's flush with the front that's fine.
  5. Ahh I see, don't really want to lose the clock.
  6. Would be close I think, the hole is about 50mm, I will get it apart for a look when I get time.
  7. Perfect, so that's turbo pressure at the top, Is that 1 bar? I was just looking at my NA clocks, I have the volt gauge there, I was thinking I could put a black 52mm boost gauge there instead, I want to keep it looking OEM but with the only addition of a decent boost gauge.
  8. Can somebody with a facelift TT6 upload a picture of the speedo cluster for me please. Thanks Jamie.
  9. Spot on mate, get it mapped to the max % you are ever likely run, mine is done to 60%
  10. Forget the above, I just read your reply again, I got the wrong end of the stick
  11. You lost me mate, put the methanol in the fuel tank, get it mapped and let the fuel flex and ecu sort everything out, no need to worry about the mix % If you used a water/meth kit, it's a very crude way of doing it IMHO.
  12. What year is your car and how many miles has it done?
  13. Very crude way of doing it. Far better to have the mixture spot on via a fuel flex sensor.
  14. E85 is not sold in any petrol stations in the UK, you can either buy pure ethanol (E100) and mix your own, or buy E85 race fuel from sunaco. Methanol is a lot easier to get hold of.
  15. spool time will be a little better on ethanol.
  16. Syvecs with a fuel flex sensor is best. My GTR is mapped to 60% ethanol mix, I can then run anything between 0% and 60% and the fuel flex sensor tells the ecu how much boost and timing to give me. No switching maps etc, the ecu sorts everything out. Ethanol/methanol is brilliant stuff, the car will run so much cooler on it.
  17. Good shout, if he don't see this thread I will give him a pm.
  18. I know we have a few members that have played with looms. A new VVTI supra loom is £1000, and I don't really want to spend that unless I have to. At present I can't find a second hand one. I've got the aristo VVTI loom with my engine but as the aristo has it's ecu in the engine bay it's not long enough, I'm also not sure if the plugs are the same where connects to the car? Lee can do it but he doesn't really have time, I need to supply him with a plug and play loom. Cheers Jamie.
  19. Dont do it, nur arches look nice but it's a lot of money and you will never get the finish of a metal arch! even worse with your car being black.
  20. GTROC are already in with the MLR for that event, can't see them doing two tbh mate. Bovingdon airfield could work, I hear it's peanuts to hire an all.
  21. Good man, this should be a great thread. Something similar to the MLR 30-130 would be great.
  22. It's in the boot of my GTR mate, you can be first
