New facelift ones will last another 10 years with ease, the older ones are better but I only changed to them as Lee had a set of TRD on the shelf and it was easy for him to fit.

It's not just the VVTI, all facelifts have the smaller/weaker mounts, I just changed mine to a new set of pre-facelift TRD mounts. Yes brackets are different.

Rather than BHP, I'd buy one based on what you use the car for, if you do lots of drag racing with drag tyres then it's worth having IMO, for a street car, I'd say it's a waste of money.
