  2. Anything is possible if you spend enough but why bother? a modern small single will murder stock or hybrid twins for spool and power and will be more reliable if built right. Have a look at Ryans dyno page, even my big old 76 out spools hybrids. This is not a pop at swandip or dude, dude has been asked to build a 500bhp stock twin based car and looks he has done a superb job of what he has been asked:)
  3. If anyone else wants to book thats still cool, your details will be held at the gate so you can get in, you dont have to worry about getting tickets in time.
  4. Yeah got my tickets. you going to the dyno? if so get a before and after graph, be interesting to see if Ryan can improve on Dimitri's map, i suspect he will;)

    Plastering

When you f**k it up give me a ring and i will send my plasterer over;)
  6. I take it you are talking about holding an auto on the brakes? mine is manual. Or are you refering to braking in general? Either way there should be no vibration no matter the car or spec.
  7. I have TRD engine mounts on mine, seem much the same as stock to me, noticed no difference.
  8. Little turbos and 600bhp? behave:D im skint anyhow:(
  9. 404rwhp is superb on a dyno dynamics, they do call it the "heart breaker" dyno compared to others. Well done guys, interested to see what it does at 1.6bar, is it back on the dyno today?

    Texas mile!

    SW's car? Boostlogic.

    Texas mile!

I'm getting the duck tape and cardboard out tomorrow:D Not in the uk, our fastest mile car at prsent is 198mph, fastest mile supra in Europe is 202mph, fingers crossed to take both them titles:eyebrows:
  12. Have to agree with the above, might make for a simple install on a na-t.
  13. So what did he make at TDI where it was mapped?
  14. TDI use a Rototest dyno, Not Dynapack.
  15. You wont have a problem getting parts from any of them, there is not much to it tbh.
  16. I thought his car was mapped and dynoed at TDI? 435rwhp works out to be about 494fwhp. Add 10bhp to the rwhp figure and divide by .88 has always worked out about right imo, fwhp is alway a guess, the only true figure is rwhp but if everyone uses the same conversion factor all is good. interested in what swandips rwhp was.
  17. Lots of good kits out there. Whifbitz kits seem good value and nice to buy a uk kit, i have a boostlogic kit myself and its been very good to me. HKS kit is a work of art, the manifold is stunning and all the bends are mandrel, not lots of short bits welded together. I like the fact the whifbitz kits and HKS both have rerouted screamer pipes, optional if you have it open or closed on the whifbitz kit. I like 4" downpipes myself and neither of these kits come with that option though. Boostlogic kit does come with the 4" downpipe option and is the reason i went with it.

    Motorbikes

Trouble with buying a chinese bike is when you wants parts.
  19. You cant wheelie an LS430 at 160mph and it wont fit in the corner of Lee's workshop:)
  20. I enjoyed watching that last night, he certainly loved that car. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Love-Beast-DVD-Brand-New-/130426632839?pt=UK_CDsDVDs_DVDs_DVDs_GL&hash=item1e5e087a87
  21. Nice one, bet you will have a great time, Id love to go and watch but the new baby is due 10th march so not a hope in hell of the wife letting me go.
  22. Both turbocharged, the one i linked is drag spec with that long swing arm, ghostrider one is a streetfighter.
