  1. Blimey, 4 x connection could cost around £600-700, will wait for some prices back, might give them a miss.
  2. I cant find any prices on them although whifbitz said they can get them for me, just need to work out what sizes i need. For each connection you need 2x weld on fittings, 2 o-rings and the clamp. i have 4 connections to do.
  3. Anyone used these before? They certainly look the part, im planning on fitting them to my intercooler pipes/TB/IC, just looking for feedback if they are anygood. http://www.earls.co.uk/earls/quickdisconnects/wiggins.html Jamie.
  4. Yeah, sure mate. Talking with Lee today about how we are going to do the install, should hopefully look the part and do the business, my boot is a bit of a mess at the min, be nice to have a tidy install.
  5. Yeah sorry to hear that, when i spoke to him today i asked how yours was, he did say it didnt seem good, not good for a car that was supposed to be 100%.... did he do any mapping on it? or problem already terminal?

    Texas mile!

Yeah thats true, they are flippy electric ones, will try a run each way to see if it make any difference. Hope we have a good tail wind again this year, last year we had a 17mph tail wind that must have helped.
  10. Will they still clear the arch with a 15mm spacer? wont you need to do the rears an all to keep the look the same Dan? Still got some none hubcentric ones in the shed you can have FOC if you just want to get the wheels on for now.

Im not taking mine off, running in full street trim, sub in boot etc.
  12. For people that are doing the mile run dont forget you need to bring a crash helmet with you or you can hire one from the online store, link in the first post. I have just bought a fire extingiser for mine, better to be safe than sorry. Just been messing about with cameras, Got 3 in-car cameras and a gopro stuck on the rear screen facing backwards to capture all them HSV boys;)

  16. Got my pump/filter and low voltage wiring setup a few days back, far to pretty to hide under the car, im going to make a nice setup in the boot next to my Nitrous bottle.
  17. Nice one mate, looking forward to seeing the new wheels also.
  18. Ryan works with these every day and you dont believe him? fic is a piggy back, aem series 1 Ryan talks of is a stand alone, if you leave it in place it will just shorten the life of your coil packs.

  20. Anything is possible if you spend enough but why bother? a modern small single will murder stock or hybrid twins for spool and power and will be more reliable if built right. Have a look at Ryans dyno page, even my big old 76 out spools hybrids. This is not a pop at swandip or dude, dude has been asked to build a 500bhp stock twin based car and looks he has done a superb job of what he has been asked:)
