Numbers get chucked about on this forum without a thought i sometimes think, This is not a dig at you Scott, everyone does it myself included, as i said above 700bhp is a hell of a lot of power, i like pushing things but i am fully aware of the risks and accept them, if i really wanted it to last id not push a stock engine that far.
I only ran my stock engine at that power for a very short while and it didnt like it, at the first thunder road i did the engine became noisy and when stripped down it had scoring on the bores and a possible head problem, that was only after a few thousand miles at 730bhp.
Going big power is superb, i love every second of it, a 900bhp supra is a world apart from a 600bhp supra, but its a BIG money game.
