  1. Yeah spoke to him the other day, its the same place Lee used for his stuff, Lee said it was crap, Zirotec is the only one i would consider.
  2. Zirotec want about £900 to heat coat my new whifbitz twin gate manifold, downpipe and screamer pipes with there high performance coating, they do a cheaper less effective one for about £600, now thats a lot of money, i dont mind spending the money if i think its a worth while purchase, But considering my air filter lives in the bumper and wont be sucking in hot air from the engine bay do you think its worth doing? Cheers.
  3. They won't fit a stock body supra if that is the correct width/offsets you have listed.
  4. Yeah its great, reads everything i want in a nice clutter free setup, Ryan fittted mine in no time, i made the pod it sits in myself.
  5. AEM and Syvecs can both control boost, but just like a boost controller they need a solenoid.
  6. Yes if you used the AEM to control the boost , but above you state you sold your boost controller.
  7. You will need a boost solenoid if you want the syvecs to control boost, Ryan sells them im sure. Ryan can read the boost via his laptop but you wont be able to read the boost unless you get a gauge, i read my boost via the dash2.
  8. Yeah, no swirl pot, tbh on a track car (or road car for that matter) id not want that lot in the boot myself unless you are protected by a sealed firewall.

  10. How about just take a bottom feed from the tank and mount the pump under the car? thats what SRD is doing with my new fuel setup, keep it simple, he got the idea from the Blitz supra, similar setup on that.
  11. Ahh, nice trick, cheers mate, new engine is looking good.
  12. Did you have to remove the hub to fit them long studs?
  13. It happens, just not many people push them so far, vase had a stock rod come out the side of his block iirc.
  14. My red single failed at 612bhp and 50,000 on a stock engine, started to breath very heavy, rings looked to fail, black one bent a rod a 730bhp and also about 50,000 miles, black one was fine at 600bhp for a long time, soon as i put it up to 730bhp it failed within a couple of thousand miles.
  15. Depends on the condition/mileage of the engine, some fail at stock power, some are fine at 550-600bhp for many miles. I can count on one hand the number of people that have made into the 700's and i will be surprised if they have even done a couple of thousand miles between them yet. You not looking for upwards of 800bhp you say, does that mean you want around 800bhp?
  16. Did i not read you had low compression? You only notice built engines failing because they are on cars that run a lot more power, stock engine would not last 2 min in my car, infact i didnt last 2 min when i hit 700bhp.

  18. Its a 1jz in a BMW 3 series, oem wont fit. Id put it in the bumper if possible or build a airbox behind the headlight.
  19. I will give you the 8k if i can play with them?
  20. Not a daily driver but i have done over 20,000 miles in the last 2.5 years.
  21. Id love to see you post that on Supraforums Chris:D
  22. I read somewhere on supraforums the fastest road race Supras was running 315's on all corners.
  23. Good to see you back in a Supra Dean, not keen on the kit but im sure with a bit of Dean/Dave love it will be a stunner.
  24. Nice colour, is he still going with the big O.Z wheels?
