  1. Missed out on the one i was planned to test today, they just called to say its sold.
  2. I can well believe, i think you guys understand im looking for a workhorse though, i will be on and off building sites daily, chucking various materials and tools in and out of it, and at the weekends i need something to double up as a big family car, me and the wife, two kids and a dog all in it. Volvo xc90 or x5 is not my thing at all, so far the disco is just what im looking for i think, the only other big 4x4 i dont mind the look of is the landcruiser.
  3. That would be great, I won't buy anything till I see what you post.
  4. I will see what its like tomorrow, i dont need anything quick, got other cars for that, just want something thats big and a nice drive, i like the look of them very much.
  5. Another car i will never own, im a bloke, i will leave that sh1t to the women, and blokes that are owned by there women:D
  6. No offence to anyone with a KIA, Im sure they are a good car but there is no way i would drive one of them.
  7. Thats good to hear, thanks.
  8. That makes it easy Yeah, there is nothing in the way to worry about hitting, front legs bolt up under the car, take the rear wheels off to bolt the back legs in, drill everything from inside the car once its fitted.
  9. I think they are a similar price, (edit, paul lists them at £510 including vat) not sure if they are road legal though like the dash2.
  10. No, they run different ones in the race cars, racepak iirc.
  11. Its Red now, very simple to fit, just bolts to the floor and rear inner arches, i didnt even take the carpet out when i fitted it, only tricky bit is trimming the rear panels to fit round the cage, i did it with a sharp stanley knife.
  12. Yeah i like that look, i will be using it for work if i get one and want one of them huge roof racks on it. http://www.prospeed-elite.co.uk/category/ProSpeed-Off-Road-news.aspx 02 plate is a different model no? whats a sorrento?
  13. If i get one i will bring it over for that, going to look at one in reading tomorrow.
  14. Thinking about buying a few year old one, 2.7TD. Good car? Anyone got one or know of anything to watch out for with them? Ta:)
  15. It takes water temp and intake temp from the stock sensors.
  16. Yes it does take the feed from the syvecs, but as this replaces all gauges you are better off selling the aem wideband, there was cheaper options on the arf sensors, cant remember the reason for this one being more money now. The dash2 does also use the stock sensors from the ecu reading.
  17. Yeah, £600 with the vat but as imi said there is other costs, the AFR sensor alone is about £150 iirc. http://www.race-technology.com/dash2_2_31.html
  18. Different colour now but i have a few pictures i can post if you want me to Mark?
  19. Good rear cage this, use to be in my car, superb fit.
  20. Love mine, does everything i want, i flick betwwen two screens so i can monitor everything.
  21. No chance of me doing a submarine with my belly:d
  22. Same as here really, if they have been a member a few years and have decent feedback then you should be fine.
  23. Joking aint ya, Im on site from 7:30 am till 5:00-5:30 daily, im at work 10hrs a day 6 days a week, sometimes 7, Ive had 3 days at home since xmas, regularly im doing paperwork and quotes till silly times of the evening, i see how people must think i spend all my time on here but im good at multitasking, im sat at my desk now surrounded with stuff to do, bit of paperwork and a look round the forum in between keeps me from going mad, id love a 9-5 job that paid the money i need, my day never ends.
