  1. Yeah, see you at reading mate.
  2. How many miles was that? you going japfest mate?
  3. I got one in the shed, but its been powdercoated gunmetal, no badge either.
  4. Impressive collection, thank you for posting, enjoyed them pictures.
  5. You are going to need some 15's and a line lock mate if you want a chance at a proper time. Should be some fast cars this year, Jay-nw is having a rather special build done, also steve sherwoods car could do well as will Dude if he gets his sorted this year, I also think Lee P could pull one out the bag now he has some proper drag wheels/tyres, will be fun thats for sure.
  6. Whats next then mate? have your eye on anything?
  7. Bump, also have a spare set of 15x10 et-2 for any of you wide body guys that want drag wheels, would work well with veilside overfenders or the like i guess. £200 for them.
  8. Them SSR's are looking a bit ropey mate.
  9. Yeah it has been great, light peddle and minimal noise.
  10. It can be done if you are willing to work at it, ive had 11" et24 on the front of mine with stock arches, with a heavy roll/pull they cleared, the paint did crack on both arches though.
  11. I went with a GT42 in the end and that only just fitted, a GT45 would never have fitted my manifold.
  12. Quality picture:d do you know if it fits yet?
  13. If i change i will go RPS triple CC or maybe Tilton, i have always been a fan of the RPS stuff.
  14. Hope to go against Jurgen at suprapod, he needs a win, last time it was 1-0 to me:d i dont think it will be as easy this time though.
  15. Yup, full soft , geo is setup to account for a little squat an all.
  16. It dont make any noise that ive noticed, i can feel a very small vibration on pull away now but im not sure if thats the solid mounted TRD diff or twin plate clutch groaning at me, im pushing things a bit now for the twin plate, might have to upgrade to a triple.
  17. It had a mineral running in oil in it for the first 900ish miles, i changed it just before the dyno mapping, i need to do it again next week as its most likely still got a some of the running in oil in it.
  18. Silkolene Titan Race Pro S 10w50 is in it now.
  19. With the way i drive im under no illusions that a 1000+bhp engine will last forever tbh Mark, if it lasts 10k before a refresh i will be a happy man.
  20. Ive done almost a thousand already, its not as bad on fuel as you would think mark, on a run back for Lee's i averaged 21mpg with a few short blasts.
  21. Cheers guys, im not sure what the torque was, will check with charlie when i get a min, i was very much in a rush the night we did a little mapping. No videos yet, i want to get it on TDI before i go balls out in it, i need to be confident the fueling is spot on, also im still running it in really, i wont hold my foot down for more than a couple of gears at a time yet, i want a couple of thousand miles under its belt before it gets a proper hammering.
  22. Thats been on ebay a few times now, has some nice bits still.
