Also worth mentioning it that this car started out as a TT auto, i dont know if they did anything with the TT auto diff but its a LSD and seems to match the gearbox nicely, geared well and at 80mph its just ticking over at about 2800rpm.

It is very quiet tbh, you cant hear much of the V8 noise, i might put a slightly better flowing exhaust on it, not sure yet as im liking the quiet. My business partner Stuart has very much took a shine to it, he is out in it now and i said he can take it to the boat this weekend as im playing in the black beast.

Ive got side skirts on the V8 supra i want to remove, just need these front arch trims to go back on.

Putting the body back to stock, may keep the bonnet, (but sprayed black) not sure yet. Thats another two turbokits:D

Cheers mate, skirts and spats are coming off, got the rear arch trims and skirt pods, just need some front arch trims now. Cheers for the info.

The more people that take interest in a turbo V8 the better, it may interest Lee into making a turbokit, i can see Lee fitting one to his NA now.

I know its on its second adaptor plate, upgraded version apparently, its still the same engine.

He had 4 complete engines with Looms/ecu etc last time i was over there and he said he had another couple on the way, give him a call for price.

Iirc thor claimed it to be 330rhhp, it does have a stand alone ecu fitted but id still say its closer to 280 fly bhp, will find out at the SRR dyno day.

I dont know to much about them, still learning myself, I read its easy if using the autobox, can be a pita when trying to fit to a manual, thats the reason why i wanted this car, its been like this for years and proven to work well.

Its not bad, nice low down grunt that tails off as the revs climb, similar performance to a stock tt id say, Great upgrade for any na.

Fearless and others seem to be doing ok so im just going to see what happens mate, the engines are so plentiful and cheap its not the end of the world if it lets go, as i say, Noel has loads of them in his yard.

Lee's fabricator with be doing it with Lee showing him where everything needs to be so they can get the ic piping etc all nice and neat. I think they should make a kit myself, i can see these engines becoming very popular.

I cant be arsed with the work tbh Jason, the idea of the Thor car is to keep things simple and use it a lot with out worrying about chipping the paint, its very quiet also so going to try and get on track asap.
