Thought he was watford way? edit... to late. Seen a blue one with a bomex front this way a lot, beaconsfield services is right on my door step, infact i was in there this morning in Lee P's Supra.

Thanks dude, won't bother with a new cap for now in that case, Lee fixed the leak, I will keep an eye on the water level now, hopefully a simple fix.

Paul does a 4" twin box system, the first one was a bit loud still but he told me he now makes them with bigger box's, should do the job, hows your car coming on? oil pump changed yet?

Everything is pointing towards a dodgy cap then, cheers guys, will look into it.

Fluidine rad/cap Chris, its worked just fine for years but we did recently fit a new cap, maybe its faulty, will try another.

It can be done, i have a huge 4" back box i use when i need to be quiet, does not seem to restrict it.

My car felt like it lost a 100bhp when i tried out a 3" system last year, i could not wait to get the 4" system back on.

I think i lost a bit of water from somewhere as i could see some fluid on the undertray, everything has now been nipped up so hopefully thats the end of that, i was under the impression if the rad was low it would pull water from the overflow tank? this dont seem to be the case, brand new rad cap and also checked the overflow pipe is clear, any ideas why its not pulling water from the tank when needed or is this not the case?

Be fine (especially so on a na), i use mine all the time, never effected my EGT's either, ive never held it flat out with the bung in but i have blasted it through a few gears many a time and nothing seems effected to me.

Looks like a nice day out, i was going to be racing an E-type at prescott hill climb today but one of the cars had a problem on the way and we never made it.
