  1. I will do another video soon;)
  2. Im not going to kid anyone and say its fast spooling Scott, it depends what you compare it to, with my RPM limit i still have a huge power band which is what counts imo, anyone thats been in the car will tell you lag is not an issue, anyone that tells you it is an issue has not been in a car like mine, yup 8500rpm:) I never bothered to take the dyno sheet as i never got a clean run without miss fire, i will be back there soon.
  3. You will have to check with Lee P mate, they are 280's is all i can remember, think they was same spec as the Titan ones.
  4. 3.4 would be nice but its a big outlay for a maybe 200rpm gain in spool. I will never say i wont go for more later, at this boost its pretty mad though and im happy for now. Sam at tdi was telling me about loads of cars that go there, he mentined a top secret skyline running 2.5 bar on race fuel, twin gt35 turbos, stroker kit and it maxed out at 820rwhp, i get 880 with relitivley low boost (1.7bar) and a miss fire on pump fuel. That was 1.5 bar, it feels a lot faster now.
  5. I think it will crack a 1000whp at this boost or be very close to it, still on pump fuel an all, traction is still very good, we was laying it all down in 2nd onwards, hot tarmac and stick 335 section tyres did well today, although i have to say Ryan did let out a little scream at one point:D i will let him fill you in on that bit;)
  6. Back at home now, we never found the problem till half way home, will get back to tdi in the next few days, it's fully mapped for 2.2 bar now as we did it on the M25, feels insane at that boost.
  7. All fixed, dodgy injector clip. Now set boost at 2.2 bar and it's fine.
  8. Give up now, just seems a simple miss fire everytime we go over 1.5 bar, taking the car off the dyno.
  9. Even with the problems it's still the highest bhp car they have ever had on the tdi dyno.
  10. Hmmm might be ok, doing some testing, it's not building any pressure in the water system, just going to change the plugs and run again.
  11. It would have have done a 1000 atw's with ease we think at high boost, Ryan said it was not even trying at the 880 run, still had a 1000rpm left an all. Gonna drop the car to Lee now to find out what's happening.
  12. Miss fire problems, first run it made 880 rwhp at 1.7 bar but we let off at 7500rpm, think the head might be lifting.

    Twin vs single

I did mine in stages but each stage I knew what it was going to cost, the envy supra and jays supra are not 1000+ bhp cars.
  14. Drove out the gate at just gone 6 and they never realised it was missing till 9:30.

I was only adding up the engine side of things to get the power, as you say, a lot more to it than just getting the horse power, depending on how tomorrow goes i might need a new clutch now, another $5200 plus import duty and delivery.

Yup, more like £35-40k to do it right imo, thats just having a quick count up in my head.

£10k for a 1000-1500bhp build? think again mate.
  18. It is nice but to pull the look off on my car i think it would need something like Ridox skirts and Ridox front bumber, i like my stock look to much to mess with it, im going to spray my front wings soon to get rid of the carbon as ive gone off that now, i might also sell the rear lights, put some facelift ones back on it.

Not many people will be able to give you advice on 1000+ bhp builds, , only a handful of them in the UK, i would suggest talking to Lee of SRD, he knows big single and big twin installs inside out. Out of interest, whats your budget for the build and what do you plan to use the car for?
  21. Only up the road from me, shame its pissing down, id get the beast out for a drive.
  22. I bought an 8 point a few months back, could have been old stock i guess.
  23. 2. did similar with my car, moved the harness bar as i wanted to keep the rear seats.
