  1. Used these in my car for for no more than 1 min running when fault finding a missfire, it was not plug related so i removed the plugs and put my old ones back in, Cost me £60 from TDI. £35 delivered uk
  2. Cant get E85 anywhere near me, are you buying in cans? be nice if it does become popular.
  3. Thanks guys. Long way for me and with the shit surface there im never going to do well compared to santapod, totb has never interested me mate. I have them open but its simple enough to put them back in should i want, tbh though they are no where near as loud as a single gate setup ive found.
  4. Thanks Chris, I might do if any days pop up without noise restrictions, my main aim for the car this year is a 9 second 1/4 and 200mph + mile.
  5. Maybe when they are used more in the uk i will consider, its just a lot of money when compared to a 3.0L build, if i was to pop a 3.4 id be gutted. Will look it up, thanks. Are you going to do a pump fuel map? surely you cant run on race fuel everywhere?
  6. That will be while the temps are low, minimal heat soak in the ic pipe, on a different note, as ive gone bigger turbos over the years both my intake temps and egt's have lowered each time the turbo got bigger.
  7. Did i not read you had the sensor in the IC pipe though? do the temps go up if you turn it off? made no difference at all to my intake temps.
  8. I removed mine, it did nothing for my car except made it feel slower.
  9. I dont remember Lee saying, he fitted it so best to check with him.
  10. I have the Titan one on my car for a couple of years now.
  11. My AME dyno record could be short lived, Dan has informed me he has one of these going on the dyno tomorrow. http://www.venomgt.com/the-venom-gt/specifications/
  12. I find it very easy to drive but then i am very use to it, no traction control or abs.
  13. I cant see that happening, just hope the drivetrain holds together, Fast 5 will be a good test, only 3 weeks away.
  14. Ive looked into it many times, i doubt i will ever go 3.4, might do a T6 one day.
  15. Thats what worrys me, 3.4's dont like high revs it seems, be nice to have the extra spool time but i think id rather the revs, 3.0L are cheap an all. It was just started raining in that video mate, look carefully you can see the rain, i even have the wipers on if you look close, will do a new in-car video soon on a dry day.
  16. Just call me the dyno queen, just hope Darrett or Surafan dont follow me about:D
  17. Its not bad, 3.4 would be nice though, what do you rev yours to?
  18. Thanks for the nice words guys:) we had to cut short the run at 8000rpm as a boost pipe popped off just before 8000rpm mate, by the time we put it back on Dan needed to get on with paying work. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/jamie450x/7577bb91.jpg
  19. This is 2.2bar, my only setting btw as i dont have boost control:D should make some more if we up the boost, we only reved it to 8000rpm on the dyno, 500rpm before my limit. Might need race fuel for more boost though, not sure if V-power has any left in it.
  20. I thought it best to do myself a project thread to keep everything together now, any future updates i will put in this thread. Went over to see my old mate Dan today for a dyno run, superb setup he has there, some serious fans on the go in his dyno. 975 rwhp on the first run which i was over the moon with, the car is fast becoming a bit of a dyno queen, smashed the previous highest output car to go on there by 200rwhp. Big thanks to SRD and 2bartuning for all the work:cool: Did a little fly by video, just started to rain, think Dan shit himself when i started to head towards him:d Also had the car on the scales at 1583kg, it had 3/4 a tank of fuel and in full street mode as always, subs and amp in boot, i was happy with that considering the car also has a full roll cage. Dyno graph from today. Couple of my favorite pictures
