  1. Should save 45-50kg with the carbon doors and tailgate
  2. If your car is running well, i think you will do an easy low 10 with Lee's wheels mate, maybe even a 9, autos rule the drag strip.
  3. Also great that pump fuel is going so far, if you had told me this a couple of years back i would say never would that power be possible., tempted to go for a bigger turbo myself now.
  4. Said to be held at recently deactivated RAF Cottesmore, as such no noise limits in place yet.
  5. I have a feeling he is going to make VERY big numbers tomorrow. im betting on 1300+ atw's with Nitrous.
  6. T6 is the way to go for big power thats for sure, i feel all puny now:d Dude said he will upload a video later.
  7. Im dying to get it on a mile event, i wanted to do fighting torque but its the weekend before suprapod, no chance of me getting two weekends off in a row from the wife and kids, plus the fact woodbridge is strict on noise, hopefully thunder road will be doing one later in the year and i hear it wont be noise restricted.
  8. Just spoke with Dude, well done mate, brilliant results. All boost with no Nitrous, think he said 1.8bar on pump fuel, only reving to 7200rpm at present, 1024bhp at the wheels on TDI's dyno. He is on his way home now but they left the car on the dyno to finish mapping tomorrow and add in some Nitrous:d
  9. Thursday will be a better day for racing by the look of it.
  10. Bought some carbon doors from knight racer today, the car is going in for fitting next week, Albert sent me a couple of pictures today as he test fitted them on another car to check they was all good before they go to paint, very happy with them. Also bought a Seibon Carbon hatch and lexan rear screen from Whifbitz, Im not 100% i will use the lexan rear screen yet.
  11. You guys seen this? the track is only open till 12:30 friday.
  12. Thats looking brilliant Matt, nice work using the foam block on the rear seat delete, for once a delete that i think will come out looking good.
  13. That wont be 3.2L im affraid to say. 86.5mm pistons make it 3030cc iirc, unless you have a stroker crank? think Jun did a 3.2L stroker crank
  14. Dont think TDI will do an auto mate, stuarw used it for his latest spec but dont think he could get a reading.
  15. Ha, i was waiting for this one, nice work guys:cool:
  16. I dunno what hp he is, seems well into his drag racing though, works at sound performance. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?638918-Reid-s-supra-runs-a-10.09
  17. Lol, pressure is on:d I will be over the moon with a 9.7. Just reading a thread on supraforums. Reid with a billet GT42-72 at 2 bar on E85 and nitrous, skinnys and drag slicks, good 1.5 60ft got a 10.1 at 144mph best.
  18. Fingers crossed you are right mate, hope my new prop turns up in time or im not gonna hit it to hard off the line, need to drive the thing home.
  19. Yanks seem to get a lot better times with drag slicks than radials, will see what happens, only a few days to go now, well excited.
  20. Im going both days but most seem to be going Friday.
