  1. Who is going tomorrow? i think its going to be a better day for the media and cars, Universal have asked me to be the main video car tomorrow. Cant wait to see that, stick in the thread with the other run please mate.
  2. Thanks for the advice , It does seem i needed to be more aggressive with it, i am very tempted to go back to the 26's, it was easy with them.
  3. I think the highest we went with launch control was 6500rpm, Ryan will remember better though, made about a bar of boost but the second i dumped the clutch it would almost stall, started at 21psi in the tyres, finished at 14 psi. Im still happy mate, car was great, I just want that 9, will make suprapod all the more fun though i think:)
  4. 1.9, Hoosiers seemed to good i think, i was launching at 7000rpm and it was just digging in and i was off boost, looking at the logs the revs would drop to 2100rpm when i dumped the clutch, i think it needs more power in first to make use of the grip, a small shot of nitrous just in first gear maybe, that or go back to the 26" tyres, im not sure what to do yet.
  5. That happened twice, think it was the wheel spin vibrating it down.
  6. This was my best run, you can see what terrible starts i was getting, in first gear i had to let off and put my foot down again to try and get traction, then the rest of the day i just bogged down every time., still happy with the new personal best and it was a good test for suprapod. Damn them wipers:d
  7. I didnt get the time i really wanted, still happy though and it was a good shakedown for suprapod, i know what i need to do.
  8. I could gve you all the excuses in the world Rob but at the end of the day i could not do it, First run felt good, small burnout, got a lot of wheel spin off the line but still did a respectable 10.4@143mph. I thought to myself i have got this in the bag easy, how wrong was I! Second run, massive burnout, hit it hard and it bogged badly, Ryan suggested trying the launch control out, i hated that tbh, every time it just bogged down, i stuck with it but it just bogged again and again, i was doing 2.5 60fts, i hate driver aids and i could just not get use to it. Then just before lunch Marks boy killed his prop, it just put me off trying any further tbh, i had some food, packed up and went home. Ive got a few things i want to change now, good test day for suprapod. Dont get me wrong, Im still over the moon with my new personal best, I drove there, did a 10.4@143mph and drove home again, How many uk supras do you know that can do that?, I WILL BE BACK Yes mate, i will be there, im not taking the drag wheels though.
  9. Home now, after I see mark Newman break his stock prop I never wanted to do the same to mine so gave up, I never ran the car after lunch, I'm just going to unload the car, also need need to think up some excuses why I never ran a 9 and I will be back, should have a video or two.
  10. I can't get off the line, bogs down every bloody time, driving me mad, best run so far was my first one 10.4@143mph
  11. Weather is looking good and they are prepping the track, I'm all signed up and drag wheels are on.
  12. It's dry at the moment, overcast and very windy.
  13. Talk about keen, I'm the only person here
  14. Thanks Josh, ive got a couple of cameras with me, will try and get some footage of the day.
  15. The weather is looking good for tomorrow now, no rain till 4ish. You and me both mate.
  16. Went over to see Lee today, we fitted the new axle stubs and put my TRD diff back in, the old axle stubs you could pop in and out with ease, the clips on them was very worn and they had some grooves in the metal where the seals sat, the new stubs had to be given a wallop to get them in, hopefully they will stay that way. Also fitted a full set of Porterfield brake pads, first impressions are good. Car is all loaded and ready for Fast5 tomorrow, fingers crossed for good weather and a decent time.
  17. That will do me, only up the road an all, Cheers Chris.
  18. They could not get a reading, R888's was shot and it wheel spun on every run. Nice seeing you all tonight, curry was superb:) Stunning car you have James, looks so good out on the road.
  19. Tyres have had it I think, let's go eat, I'm bloody starving waiting for them to finish
