    You can log it mate, Ryan hooked up a sensor to my top water neck to check to see if mine was ok at full boost on the dyno. Only time i had a problem with pressurising water was when my block cracked on the old engine.

    Is the water system pressurising? is it possible the sender could be reading wrong?

    I want to try out a dynojet, i think you have to change the settings though to read in yank hp, something about SAE and DIN.

    I didnt find there was a huge difference, on my old 76 with the little .ar i did 830bhp fly at srr with it strapped very hard, few days later i went to tdi and did 748 rhhp which is about 880fly same boost, about 50bhp between them but id put most of that down to it having to be strapped so hard at ssr and maybe a bit of wheel spin.

    Nur will be similar width to veilside, either way you would need bigger wheels or spacers.

    Cheers for the tip Kev, ive spoke to knightracer with regards what happed to yours and they are going to make sure its well fixed in for me.

    It will always be a street car, it has a full cage now, I just want a proper weld in cage so I know I'm safe.

    I'd said I'd never gut it but now I want to do a bit more drag racing and top speed events I am thinking of going with a proper cage now, something similar to what Wez has in his car from Andy Robinson race cars.

    I only need the nos setting up on mine for first gear, can we do that at srr or dans? dont really want to drive all the way to tdi if i can help it mate.

    Id have loved to but the car wont be back from srd in time, jamesy might be up for it, i might well come and watch.

    Thats how i get it close, then i go backwards to check it or it looks like you are allowing 17.5% trans loss, loads of ways to work it out, i use to add 10bhp and divide by .88 which is what one dyno told me, its all a bit of a guess, rwhp is the true figure.

    712 - 15% = 605 659 - 15% = 560
