Just fitted a new battery and gave it a nice clean, just needs a new owner now.
  4. Johns Alley seat mounts went in nice and easy, interior is mostly back together now, just need to pick up a new passenger seat. Pulled some more unwanted bits out of the car.
  5. Just to add, the fit on these was brilliant, thanks John.
  6. Mods, im going to get one of my mates to drive my other car over to carry my drag wheels and tools, is it best to pay at the shop for him or gate?
  7. Drive with a boostlogic exhaust and you dont hear anything but the boostlogic exhaust, just the way i like it.
  8. Not much else i can do and still keep a street car, Im looking at maybe getting a full ETS titainium system from turbo back, ive got to pull out all the amp power leads tomorrow but thats about it i think, be interesting to see what it weighs wensday.

    My new car :)

Good choice, ive always liked the S2.
  10. Just pulled out 6kg of dynamatt, going to install the alley seat mounts and put the interior back in tomorrow.
  11. You went in it at 1.8 bar, it was about 880rwhp then iirc, it's now about 2.4 bar and lighter
  12. Cheers guys, Ryan sorted my boost issue that developed yesterday, wire had come off the solenoid, nice easy fix. I can defiantly feel the difference in power with the weight saving, feels really good.
  13. Engines get hot Jazz, if your temps read fine dont worry yourself.
  14. How do you know its to hot?
  15. I think its terrible, gaps are huge, sits to high at the back, gaps round lights are massive, it dont look symetrical left to right, fit round 3rd brake light is bad, wish i test fitted it before i painted it. its got one but its rubbish, ive ran out of petrol twice now because the dash2 fuel gauge has a mind of its own.
  16. Im not taking the risk on another product, id rather go with an exact copy of my tailgate, i like the 3rd brake light and thats only a small part of the issue with the seibon stulff.
  17. Yeah, fuel gauge aside i love it, i did think about cutting up a set of clocks and hiding a stock fuel gauge in the glove box, i dunno yet, having some needles at present is quite novel. http://www.race-technology.com/dash2_2_31.html
  18. Sick of never knowing how much petrol ive got in the car, gone back to clocks and relocating the dash2.
  19. Its carbon backed up with fibreglass, im guessing ive saved somewhere around 90-100kg in total (not including drag wheels) ive not weighed my sub box and amp i removed yet so not 100% sure. The car was 1583kg with 3/4 full tank of petrol before i started on the weight saving, will see where im at next week when i get over Dans. Just fitted the steering wheel, well happy with it, it sits a bit far forward what with the dish+boss+quick release hub, i knew that would be the case so ordered a NRG stubby hub a few days back an all, should be here soon.
  20. One good thing, after Kev scaring the life out of me that the lexan would pop out at anything more than 30mph i can report its fine, not that i would tear down the wendover bypass at 150 with the windows open to test it
