  1. I had my manifold/down pipe/screamers all Zircotech heat coated, i cant say how well it works other than ive never seen it glow on the dyno. Cant advise on the pistons, although i cant see how it will prevent det, det will be there if the tune is bad.
  2. Either way i cant see it effecting santpod, its in the middle of nowhere.
  3. Just been looking at the list, shame no Steve Sherwood this year, his car has the potential to do well, anyone asked Leon Green if he would like to attend? be nice to see that run.
  4. I dont even want to be spoke to till i get that 9 after that im happy to give you a ride;)
  5. Last time i tried to race it i kept bogging down on the line, they are also a bit big and i ripped off my side pod, im hopefull i will get off the line better with these, will know in a couple of days.
  6. I could not think of anything worse, i hate auto.
  7. Just got home and my new drag tyres are here, hope these do the job for me, picture of them next to the old huge drag radials that i kept bogging down with.
  8. Plenty to be done yet Ricky, Don't think to yourself I will ever sell it.
  9. The drags are hard to find these days, I've been looking for a set for a couple of years.
  10. Yes. I'm not taking this car to srd, going in the slow one. Cheers Chris, will look into that. Yeah got tein flex on it now, will have a play on the day.
  11. Picked up some very hard to find HKS Drag shocks, I'm not going to have time to fit them for suprapod though.
  12. I really dont care who does what in what country tbh mate, im going saturday to enjoy myself, the car does what it does and i wont have any pressure put on me by saying it needs to run X time, i feel like ignoring this thread an all now tbh.
  13. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?247536-Nitrous-kit Or plenty of kits on ebay.
  14. http://www.hoosiertyre.co.uk/ http://www.webster-race-engineering.co.uk/ http://www.laracingparts.com/ http://www.robinson-race-cars.co.uk/
  15. Best thing you can do is get some drag radials on it.
  16. When compared to rolling roads such as dyno dynamics or maha etc id say you are most likely right with that one, it would not supprise if the rwhp that the dynapack gave me is close to the rwhp they talk of on the dynojets though, as you say either way it makes no odds, i only quote them numbers as thats what i was given. Ive tried many times to get a clean run on a rolling road but have struggled with wheel spin, the dynojets do look to hold big power cars well, they have huge rollers which will give a much better contact patch, id like to get on one soon.
  17. I think it would be worth sending Robbie a pm mate, he had a lot of good times with the autobox, he may have some advice for you, he can can advise you on when his shift points was and if he shifted manual or not.
  18. See how i get on with my times, if i do well in the morning im happy to help others in the afternoon.
  19. Im supprised nobodys done it yet, would be easy to beat that time imo.
  20. Nitrous is your friend, gav has a kit for sale, borrow it for the day;) If i had more time id stick a 200 shot on my NA and take that an all.
  21. If you want to borrow my hole saw i can bring it to suprapod if you post it back to me when finished with it.
  22. Yeah but we have down hill drag strips according to them now:D i really could not give a toss about who says what in that thread.
  23. 165 is not going to be done on my power, jessica bartons car when 1078rwhp was doing low 150's with darin at the wheel. I could not care less what they think tbh dude, i only post my videos over there to get the veiw count up and earn a few quid from them Im not feeling any pressure, i love the car and will be happy with whatever it does the weekend, i just got fingers crossed for no rain, cant wait to get on track
