  1. I got this one, drives no different than stock. http://www.driveshaftshop.com/import-driveshafts/toyota/toyota-supra-1-piece-pro-series-driveshaft-w-aluminum-conversion-plate-turbo-w-6-speed-shaft-aluminum-shaft
  2. I went from cast wheel T67dbb .68 to Billet 6765dbb .81 and added a set of 256/256 cams, at the same boost level i gained 100bhp, went from 630 to 730 bhp on the same dyno.
  3. Saturday sounds good to me, rather the more track time.
  4. Spoke to a few dealers today, they are import only, susspect they are not E marked? not that it would bother me.
  5. I should be ok for any date, i think you should just pick one though and be done with it.
  6. Yeah would be nice i guess, Standing mile is more of a benchmark i think.
  7. Its still going on, few spaces left for Vmax hammer an all it seems, top speed dont interest me so much tbh, rather a standing mile event.
  8. Its not about that, its just a good laugh, cars can be paired up an all, NA V NA, TT V TT, Concorde V JamieP etc.
  9. If people take interest in driving at a event like this maybe the club will do one.
  10. What did the noise turn out to be?
  11. Give Ian at websters race engineering a try an all.
  12. Just bought one of these from SRD, look good valve at £335+vat, hopefully easy to use. http://www.hkseurope.com/news/story.asp?NewsID=89
  13. Well spotted Ian, they don't do higher than a W rated either, looks like another £700 on 888's
  14. Maybe his is a bolt on kit that's been on a supra before? I was watching some videos on YouTube ( search "TH400 supra") of th400 supras driving about and they don't look as bad as I thought they would.
  15. Track is fine, it's more about the time of year, last year it was to late in the year IMO, the track had a green tint to it and was very slippy. There is also Cottesmore that could be used.
  16. Nah mate, I have a lot of confidence in this setup.
  17. Anyone know of any going on this year? I really want to have a pop at getting a decent time again. Last fighting torque was canceled and I can't find any info on another thunder road. Club event would be cool. Jamie.
  18. Know any UK suppliers? i just missed a brand new set on pistonheads the other day.
  19. Ive read about this heat cycling a few times now, interesting stuff, get them up to a gentle temp and then leave them a couple of days to settle before using again or something like that. Ive also noticed if i do any sort of dyno run on a set of tyres they are shot after it, seems if they overheat i get next to no grip with them after that. They dont do them in 335's mate.
  20. Yeah they do a medium and hard, was going to go with the mediums as after as much grip as possible on the street, id imagine the hards would be better for track.
  21. £1000 to fit a bumper? Thats the trouble with having paint shops fit parts they have not supplied, they will alays say fitment is terrible to justify charging more themself.
  22. Need some new tyres, R888's are silly now, over £700 for a pair of rears (335/30/18) on my car. Kumho do a V70 trackday tyre that looks ok and Wheels In Motion will do a pair for about £500, anyone tried them? thinking of giving them a go. http://www.camskill.co.uk/m118b0s696p9704/KUMHO_TYRES_TRACKDAY_TRACK_DAY_KUMHO_V70A_ECSTA_KUMHO_V70_A_-_335_30R18_102W_%28K60-MEDIUM%29_TL_
  23. Yeah for the next few weeks, its that or i gotta find somebody else to look after me
