    It needs to be at the gearbox end Chris, stop it digging in and flipping the car over is the idea, they dont care about the other end. I have one you can copy if you get it back to me within a few weeks, or Lee's fabricator might be able to copy it..

    What sort of intake temps are you seeing? Basic spec of the car?

    I dont have any wrapping, everything apart from the turbo is coated, no blanket, just a small cover to protect the bonnet.

    Time will be the test but mine has been fine this season with many dyno runs and about 4000 road miles

    Just a 5" ETS IC, Water injection made no difference to my intake temps whatsoever. I only use the nitrous at the drag strip and only pre boost, never on the road, all day at suprapod i only used 1.5 lb of a 10 lb bottle, id imagine it does reduce the temp but when racing the gauges was the last thing i would look at.

    Both will do the same job but Zircotec looks better and will last longer.

    Depends on a lot of things, what size jet you use, at what boost pressure you activate it and how often you are on boost. I think its a waste of time myself, i dont need it at almost 1300bhp on pump, i did have a kit fitted but removed it.

    Just the front, its not removed, just unbolted, i will most likely change the rear one to a oem one over winter.

    The weld on the IVC plate cracked and was letting air in, unbolting the ARB lets the front lift up when you hit it off the line.

    Hypertune is repaired and going back on, HKS drag shocks fitted, anti roll bar disconnected, got a prop loop sorted as per part of the hks rules, also need a scatter shield fitted for the rules, got one of them sorted an all. Picking the car up mid next week as long as the clutch is ok.

    Not sure id go that far Mine dont hate the car at all, she just has no interest in it which i can understand.

    Seem like a lot of agro when it only takes an hour or two to change the turbo.

    Bung the 76 on and go 2.5bar 1000+rwhp has been seen on stock engines before, doubt it would last long though.....

    Great result, also proves Dan's dyno is spot on, same numbers as you got at TDI on the same boost.

    My wife has no interest in my car, she has never even sat in it, she likes the fact I have a hobby and says if I'm happy she is happy.

    I might have one to sell in a couple of weeks, depends if my new exhaust sounds good or not, be about £650 I guess.

    Gonna stay pump fuel for now, want to see what sort of time/terminal i can get like that before i go race fuel and bigger turbo. No chance of me making jap final in the hks series, to much to do and no time, i dont even know if my clutch is working yet, rather start fresh next year.
