  1. I see, with my spec wheelie bars are not needed, removing the arb just lets the coilovers extend and transfer the weight to the rear where i need it.
  2. I like a bit of everything matt, ive always liked drag racing, i wanna see what sort of time i can get from my setup and going in the hks series is a no brainer, no queing up with the chavs etc, then the year after i will most likely set it up for trackdays, year after that maybe a bit of drifting, just want to enjoy the car.
  3. Not sure if you are taking the piss or not? ARB bar was removed in the end as it weighs a ton, car feels no different to me on the street, ive not pushed it in the bends yet though.
  4. Nice work stuart, looks like a new car/cage is needed for next season
  5. Hope to be at the Websters test and tune day next week, im waiting till nearer the day to sign up though as its £200 and no refunds if it rains.
  6. Nice cages, got a 9 point in my car.
  7. Nice one mate. Thank you, Anything over a 150mph terminal in the 1/4 and i have to run a chute or i will get kicked off the track.
  8. I just want it sprayed so it looks nice, on stock bonnets the factory dont finish the underside.
  9. Next week with any luck mate. Cheers Josh, yeah bored of the carbon now.
  10. Gonna have to do some chute testing soon on my private drag strip:innocent: Going over to see Andy Robinson tomorrow to see what my options are with regarding a 8.5 tagged cage.
  11. Chute should be fine, had a traffic cop follow me for about 5 mile round the M25 on the way home, after a while he went past me with a thumb in the air and a big grin on his face Lever in the car to deploy chute, padlock on the chute so it cant be deployed by accident.
  12. Cheers guys, the body will pretty much stay as it is, just spraying the front wings again and the underside of the bonnet over winter if baldy can fit me in. Bolts to the front chasis rail.
  13. Id not thought about selling them really, tempt me with an offer if you want mate.
  14. Got the car back from Lee, clutch all seems good, also suprised how good the car feels on the road with the HKS Drag shocks, i thought it was going to be a bit sloopy but it feels good, cant notice any side effects to running without a front ARB yet either. The car gets a serious amount of double takes on the street with the chute fitted HKS dmr is fitted now an all, not had a chance to try it out yet but it seems a great bit of kit, Lee hooked it up so i can use my stereo as a screen, got two cameras, one facing forwards and one backwards.
  15. You could have all them with a supra and the right setup, new car looks nice though mate. I heard who the new owner might be a few days ago, hope it worked out he got got it.
  16. Some nice prices there dude, T6 kit is a bit special.
  17. Orange beast had very small allen head nuts and bolts on the arches, looked cool.
  18. Fair shout, ive been guilty of that myself, dyno figures are going to be a hot topic forever.
  19. Shame, I thought it was just what i needed to cover my lexan that scratches so easy.
  20. It is 3mm and a long Allen fits, Lee has just been out in the car and reported it drives very well on the hks coilovers, thanks Chris. Also the clutch seems to be fixed, looks like it was an hydraulic issue.
  21. I just looked at your thread on supraforums, it's only got one reply and the guy is from south Africa, bit early to be pointing the finger at the yanks over the numbers yet mate:D
  22. I'm going on BIGcc's dynojet soon for some more mapping, if it's higher or lower I could not care less tbh, we know know TDI's and AME's dyno read almost spot on to each other and for us to all compare dyno numbers that's what counts IMO.
