  1. Re shim every 1000miles means i would be taking the gearbox out every few weeks, Tilton is no good for me, RPS last forever, i read loads of threads on SF before buying mine, some have reported to have done over 50,000 miles and 100's of drag passes without a rebuild. RPS are also said to have great after sales service, ive read tilton are out of rebuild kits for months to come yet.
  2. Most the yank drag supras use RPS or Tilton, i considered the tilton but it seems they dont like being slipped, they last for years on drag cars but only seem to last a short while on the street, RPS has always been good to me so staying with them myself.
  3. Yeah, im going to most likely upgrade to a triple over the winter as i want more power.
  4. Ive got an RPS carbon twin, i dont know of anyone in the UK that would carry one in stock mate.
  5. They seem nothing but agro them carbonetic triples, Mark Newman has had loads of issuse with his new one, i saw it removed the other day and the plates looked to be warped to me, his has done about the same miles as yours i think.
  6. Thanks Alex. Cage is now. SOLD
  7. No because the new cage is going in the same holes, they are not hard to cut, i just dont want to remove the dash again, i will chuck in the rear plastics that are trimmed to fit the cage if somebody gives me some stock ones in return.

  9. SOLD This will be coming out of my car first week in november. 8 point cusco cages cost £850 new, door bars to make 9 point cost £200 new £600 everything collected from SRD.
  10. More about me not always driving within the law.
  11. Yeah, we pulled over, he said he knew the car from my youtube videos, sussed it was me when he see the plate.
  12. Yeah thats much better but still not the quality i want if im honest, i will stick to using my iphone and camcorder i think. HKS DMR, i will be deleting this video in a couple of hours. [video=youtube;ZNbnB-Y2KBw]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNbnB-Y2KBw
  13. First chance to use this today, R1 wanted a play and i showed him who is boss have to say I'm disappointed in the quality of the video and sound, id not recommend this kit.
  14. Yeah dude has a comp turbo. Ive awlays like Precision myself, I just dont see other turbos making the numbers they do for the size, the latest air cooled DBB, CEA billets like i have are awesome imo. Batmowheels seem pretty good and they are cheap, Pauls car made decent power for the boost but thats a very big turbo, 83mm is huge. A turbo with no oil feeds would make for easy fitting for the NA boys, no need to remove and drill the sump.
  15. Although i love watching others do it, its not my thing mate, i like the street car side of the car to much, besides that i dont have the money to go that serious, other things in life i want more.
  16. Cheers guys, Went over to Andy Robinson Race Cars this morning with the Supra, the car is booked in for a full new cage, i went a slightly different route to the norm, Andy is doing me a cage that will come tagged and passed for 8.5 but also will pass time attack specs, its a bigger tube than normal.
  17. Them chav things ive gone right off mine and plan on changing them shortly.
  18. My wife calls me a chav:D I like white supras but i think the wheels and roof spoiler let it down a bit, also are they black rear lights?
  19. They are going to be awesome, gonna buy some for my car next year.
  20. Picture of a rather nice looking Porsche 996/997 turbo on Andys facebook page listed as new toy.
  21. I will be in the street class, the competition is tough, few 9 second cars in there. http://www.japdragseries.co.uk/2011racers.php I think the car has a low 9 in it when i get my 60fts sorted.
