  1. I'm not sure i will be in the supra then mate, its off on its winter holiday/upgrades shortly.
  2. Im on a single shot kit next to the TB mate, direct port kit would be even better and i will upgrade to that with time, Forgot to mention Ryan is also going to have the Syvecs control my bottle warmer so i dont have to constanly keep an eye on the pressure which will be handy.
  3. Yes, i used it at suprapod, it wont make a huge difference on the drag strip as i should be above 1.5bar for the best part of the run, it may kick in for the split second between gear changes.
  4. In the lower gears its amazing, instant boost, 5/6th low rev pull its just picks up a bit quicker, its as you would imagine an extra 50bhp off boost to be, full boost hits in about 1000rpm quicker from what i can tell. next week we are changing to 100bhp jets so the high gear/low rpm pickup will be even quicker. Im waiting for some firmware upgrades before we go back on the dyno, should have them next week some time and plan to get back on the dyno before the end of the week, will do an overlay of with and without the nitrous pre boost. Its in hand
  5. Ryan is sorting a GTR S8 Syvecs ecu at present, get one on the car mate.
  6. Just thought Id mention just how amazing this is, I used it for the first time on the street today, the way Ryan has this set up via the syvecs is just superb, anyone with a decent size turbo should consider this setup. It uses the smallest amount of nitrous and makes my 76mm turbo spool so fast it feels like a 60mm turbo. From what I could gather it works on a few things, The nitrous is activated on throttle position, when manifold pressure is above atmospheric, when tps is over 70% and when rpm is over 2800rpm, The Nitrous then turns off as soon as the car hits 1.5 bar (full boost is 2.2bar) but not instantly, the Syvecs reduces duty slowly as boost rises so you don't feel a cut in power, snatch the next gear and it all happens again in a split second. Ryan did a few tweaks on the car today remotely from the comfort of his home, I then had to go out and test the car so he could check the logs when i got back, I can honestly say it was the drive of my life, crazy spool time and huge power, I have the activate button right next to my gear stick, it reminds me of knightrider/kit, its like having a turboboost button:D Press the button and you are on boost that insant. Cant thank Ryan enough for the work he has done on my car, amazing setup, he was talking me through the logs today, I didn't even realise about all the safety features himself and Lee have put in place, The syvecs monitors just about everything, Oil temp, Oil pressure, fuel pressure, knock control etc, I'm sure Ryan can tell you more about the safety features. Next week we are doubling the jet size on the pre boost nitrous, I'm looking forward to that.
  7. Got one of the lads that works for me on the car all day
  8. That would have been foodfreak, he had just been round my house.
  9. Yeah, stopping and cornering is over rated I used my skinnies on the road once, never again, seriously dangerous.
  10. Got the car back home, big thanks to Lee for getting to the bottom of the sticking clutch peddle, feels brilliant now. Love the new exhaust, its got a really nice tone to it, must be a titanium thing. Had a great drive home, I never take much notice of the boost gauge, it might be over boosting a bit, was hitting 2.6bar on the way home, It felt a bit naughty:cool:
  11. Mark, you gonna drive it on the street with them strange brakes and skinny wheels?
  12. Love this video, great how they do all the road miles between events.
  13. I got it off a club member that made them a few years back, supramole iirc.
  14. Cheers and good luck, agree with TDR on the project thread, get some pictures up.
  15. Never had much of a technique Ken, was on 275/50/15 BFG drag radials.
  16. Just for the record I ran a 10.9 with 630bhp in my manual Supra.
  17. It will be under that at idle, a lot higher than 99db on boost though.
  18. Video from Lee, im well happy with the sound, The best 4" exhaust available imo.
  19. That will do me, looking forward to this, just hope its not to busy there. Dont forget your driving license and crash helmets guys.
  20. Ive not heard much of them, BC pro rods are not expensive and are very well proven, id go with them, SRD does great prices on them.
  21. Lee got the exhaust on, he said it was very nicely made and fitted just like the hks Ti, infact we used the HKS Ti brackets as im waiting for Paul to finish mine off, he had to mess about with my midpipe a bit, cut and shut in a couple of places as it did not meet up with the Ti exhaust, he said my exhaust has never fitted so well as it does now, tucked up very high and i have masses of ground clearance now. Lee has done a video clip and is putting it up in a bit.
  22. Why are you thinking of manley rods mate? is it a cost thing? how much are they?
