Im really in two minds what to do with the car at present, i want to get some good drag times from the car and the best way to do that is in the HKS drag series, its just im not sure i can be bothered to do all the work thats needed to pass the hks rules, drag racing is fun but not where my heart is if im honest, i dont feel i have the bug, its more like peer preasure to get a good time im feeling, people expect it, maybe i should just stick with the odd rwyb, would save me a fortune what with the cost of fitting a new cage etc, money that can be spent on going for more power:D I got a few weeks to make my mind up.

Hi, The SZ-r with have a small case na diff, ratios and strength would be no good for forced induction id have thought. Also to consider is resale, a converted na wont be worth the same as an RZ id have thought.

Burnout cleans the tyres up and gets some heat in them, well worth doing, get a second diff mount in the car would be my advice before you start on the big burnouts.

Yes, they also dont perform well if you overheat them at all, i find once i do a dyno run the tyres are shot.

I dont know, i was not impressed with the bfg's but i got them cheap enough so no matter. Yeah Im happy enough with the result, how many uk supras are there that can drive to the drag strip, do a 10 at over 150mph and drive home again?

I was on road legal bfg drag radials, they was worse from grip than my toyo street tyres on the drive up.

I will never tub my car, it has to be a lot more than a one trick pony! I am looking forward to getting a decent time/start, that way i can get on with doing other crazy things with the car and forget this drag racing lark.

Surprised they dont insist on drag tracks being a Little wider, if they had another 10-15ft width a few of them could have been saved.

I was one of the first to run, Might have been better late in the afternoon, i see loads of people struggling, the orange rx drag car was terrible getting away, best time i see him do was a 10.8 at 140mph, my other drag slicks are hks legal, (QTP's) with them i would have done much better but i just wanted a fun day out, not the agro of changing wheels etc, i never see anything get a terminal as high as mine, i left at 1:00 ish though.

The gopro camera mount is brilliant, I will just attach to the rear spoiler. I have one of them HKS dmr's in the car also that records all the time, camera front and back, video quality is poor though, handy for is somebody was to crash into me, id have it on video.

Cheers guys, yes josh i can hear them in the car, video recorders dont pick them up well though. Took me a while to get use to it, what with it having no veiwing screen, gotta say i love it now though, im going to get a couple more so i can have one inside and one pointing out the back.

Fun day out in the car today, traction was terrible but i enjoyed a couple of runs, i didn't bother with the nitrous. did a 10.8 and 10.9 at 152mph, both 60 ft's was 2.2 seconds.

No, drove up on the bfg radials as they are full tread and road legal.

Traction is terrible, just did a couple of runs. 2.2 60 ft's Still managed a 10.9 @ 152 mph I'm going to let the track warm up and have another go later.
