  1. I love using the car and always will, one modified supra is enough for me mate, it will alway be a street car.
  2. Thanks for the words of support guys, been a bit fed up the last few days, feeling better now though.
  3. Thats Noels car, the owner of Nur Motorsport,
  4. Lovely car, needs a 5" intake on that turbo.
  5. Love to see more pictures of the car.
  6. I bought them mainly because i wanted a spare set of drag wheels mate, free tyres was a bonus, my toyo 335 road wheels give better traction on the street also.
  7. Hey Gaz, yeah i hear what you are saying mate, might be a better way for me, shakey is very easy for me to get to an all, I was thinking about it today and no matter what im doing with the car a proper cage is a nice thing to have so i will still have that fitted over winter, i can make my mind up in the spring that way.
  8. Blimey, bad luck mate, it looks like my spare engine is sold now, if it falls through i will let you know.
  9. Madman, cant knock your dedication, how did you get on today kenny?
  10. On a budget, id be tempted to take a risk on that, the precision turbo is worth a big chunk alone of his asking price, if the manifold fails replace it with something better later down the line, at least you would be back on the road for not a lot of money, you might need to buy/fabricate a new downpipe if that one is for a l200?, that intake pipe wont be much use either but you could mod it with a silicon joiner of buy another pipe, make him an offer, he can only say no.
  11. Not a wise move admiting to that on a public forum.
  12. Same as this rear end, drag only setup. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?255724-8-second-Drag-Supra-Rolling-Chassis-Road-Legal&highlight=stuartw
  13. You got vat and import duty, together about 20% i think on the cost of the kit which is £2300-2400 i guess, would cost you itro £3000, I hear there is ways round the import duty though.
  14. Trouble with going to small a mm turbo or to small .ar is you can suffer with surge, i dont think i would go lower than 61mm turbo or .68 open ar.
  15. Sorry missed that question, They are good for 10" wide rims.
  16. PHR street kit? or one of the whifbitz smaller kits. PHR http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?254017-Release-of-new-street-turbo-kit whifbitz http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?236548-Garage-Whifbitz-Twin-Wastegate-Turbo-kit
  17. Nice buy that, hope it stays in the uk.
  18. Im not having a go at anyone, its my own fault for posting about running the car, the pressure to get that time has took the fun out of it this year though, I have all winter now to get the fight back in me and look at my drag setup.
  19. I dont mind doing the cage, its things like having to hammer the crap out of the trans tunnel to get the scatter sheild on is what puts me off, might see if the allow a box blanket instead.
  20. All i ever hear is "you should do a nine" i took suprapod far to seriously trying to get a good start and never enjoyed the day like i have in past years, get to serious and the fun is gone from these days. I enjoyed myself more yesterday, having a chat and no messing about with the car, just a couple of steady runs.
