  1. Either way, still no good for jamesys 700ftlb.
  2. I cant get that link to work, i just looked on jamesys HPF link at it states 475ftlb for a carbon twin. http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/partdetails/Exedy/Clutch/Clutch_Kits/D-Core_Carbon_Twin/11791 Edit, and this one says 426ftlb. http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/partdetails/Exedy/Clutch/Clutch_Kits/Hyper_Carbon_Twin/5541
  3. Exedy twin (unless the carbon one) is only rated to 450ftlb iirc, again no good for you mate. Save up, spend once on the right clutch, time to time a decent twin/triple will come up secondhand.
  4. Single plate clutch, wont be any good for 800bhp and 700ftlb imo.
  5. Matt, your inbox is full, wont let me reply to your pm, shoot me your email.

Im thinking i might give it to a lad that works for us when ive cleaned it up (and had a bit of fun myself) he is a good lad that works hard for me and i think he deserves a decent bonus, some of you will have meet him at suprapod, he knows nothing of what im thinking about.

    Bit of Fun!

Most likely, i was driving away thinking wtf do i want this for, it made me smile ear to ear though each time i put my foot down, me and stuart had a right giggle in it.
  9. Very nice JB, needs some mesh on the bumper to finish it off.

    Bit of Fun!

I had a long day today, it was dark when i left work, will get some pictures soon as i get a chance, its not much to look at, tatty black corsa gsi with black wheels and a dodgy IC, I hope to get it looking a lot better, first thing i need is a decent coilover kit, it has stock shocks with lowering springs, the ride is not great and its very low.
  11. Not all electric fans are naff, i was worried when i first changed and kept all my old bits incase i had to change back, they have been faultless though, soon as the ecu switches them on the temps drop right back straight away, Ive sat in London/m25 traffic loads of times with never an issue. Are your fans the ones that have the large cover with just the two holes for the fans? the way i see them is you don't get much cooling when the fans are not on, the cover stops a lot of the air going though the rad unless the fans are running, mine are simply zip tied to the rad, i get a lot of air flow through the rad when driving about and fans not on. Id say ducting is the way forward as Chris mentions, mine is only partly ducted but the fans don't seem to have to do much work, if I'm cruising about they never come on, they only come on if I'm in traffic or my foot is down, even then they are never on for long.

Took me back to my youth a bit, reminded me of my old RST. It was only 2grand, needs a bit of work to get it nice but I doubt you could find a faster car for less money, it really does move.

I will stop over there on my way back from work if it's not to late for some pictures. It's a black corsa 1.6 sport with a calibra 2.0L turbo engine.

  19. Nice work mate, i think you should open a supra workshop, members need somebody that can do neat work up that way, very evident you take a lot of pride in your work.
  20. Suppose i had a great big fan there an all replicating wind noise?
