  1. You will need a bigger turbo than that little hair dryer on there at present
  2. Anyone bought one off ebay? they look decent value at £720 supplied and fitted. Anyone know of or find any better deals? Cheers http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FULLY-FITTED-ELECTRIC-INSULATED-ROLLER-GARAGE-DOOR-/180752962700?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Doors_LE&hash=item2a15b7548c
  3. I dont remember it being noisy, all i know is its a blitz twin in his car, pm him.
  4. Lee P has one in his car, holds his 825bhp at the hubs and is a nice drive.
  5. No way i would put up with that for 1 second, smash the window and push it in the middle of the road.
  6. Ive only took a mould of the raised bit and vent to graft on my stock bonnet, that alone has cost a lot more than i had hoped, Im not sure a mould of the full bonnet is viable, would need 10-15 people to commit to make it worth taking a full mould.
  7. Liked, how much for a plain white 8x7 electric garage door fitted?
  8. E.Kanoo's Racing outlaw 10.5 Supra did a 6.716 at 327.14 k/mh over the quater mile yesterday.
  9. I doubt it, making a full bonnet mould is very time consuming and expensive.
  10. Looks nice, Is the engine on the 2010 cars different?
  11. No mate, they are measured at the hub, the wheels are not even on the car, its not RWHP you get on a hub dyno, its RHHP. I dont know the % to use, id guess nearer 5%, Any figure you use other than the figure the dyno gives you is a guess.
  12. I'm referring to people saying a stock engine is good for xxxbhp when the owner has got that figure by adding 15% to the hub figures they have been given by the dyno (i have been guilty of this myself in the past) Quoting hub bhp is the right thing to do imo, adding 15% to the hub figure and calling that your fwhp is miles out, id love to think i have 1330bhp, but i dont.
  13. Will give you a call tomorrow, just put the kids down and i dont want to wake them.
  14. Its more to do with the rpm limit imo, stock engine will take the power of a turbo that size at 2.2bar easy if its in good condition and you dont go mad with the rev limit, a big rev limit is very nice to have though and for that reason i would go built engine and flowed head if you can spare the money. Also Imo there is no way any of these cars that are quoting hub bhp + 15% are anywhere near the power owners are quoting, hub bhp is nearer to fwhp imo.
  15. Id go tried and tested myself, the unorthodox stuff is very nice. Knightracer supply masses of stuff to japspeed so it will be the other way round id have thought.
  16. Bump, was considering making an offer subject to it fitting with my wings, do you know if and in what way it was modded?
  17. I dont want or need to sell it, for the right offer i might as I would enjoy to build another one.
  18. Most likely. Depends on the power and revs you are going for i guess, If doing it i would and did go the with everything uprated in the valve train, mine has took a lot of abuse this year and Lee reported everything to look as new today so im happy.
  19. Just tried opening that link twice and both times my IE crashed.
  20. They dont class 1000+bhp as a street car, i do however. The higher the lift = the further the valve rises meaning more air, more air needs more fuel, both combined means more power.
  21. Mine ticks over very nice with SRD 280 duration 9.9 lift cams. I like the SRD cams myself, they have been proven to work very well, cars with these cams seem to make good power for the turbo size, just look at Jamesy's car and mine, for the turbo size i cant think of any Supras in the uk close to our power. Been thinking about changing to some of the new lighter SRD billet cams with a custom profile at some point, now would have been a good time as my cams are out of the engine at present while Lee changes my car over to L19 exotic studs.
