  1. I dont know of another 6 speed supra in the uk that can drive to the track, run 10's with 150+ mph terminals and drive home again on the same tyres as yet. in the US there are lots of cars that have less power than mine yet run higher terminals. according to you this cant be possible as there dyno's over read. Ive never run the car at the strip with my latest output, my 1132 bhp is at the hubs, im not going to try and convert it to fwhp or rwhp as its all just a guess. Everything you are saying has no facts behind it that ive seen, You keep banging on about one car, tdr's car doing 120+mph terminals, ive never seen that myself, i did see his 114 mph run and thats a long way behind Jessica's time in terms of power. you also say he was running 400fwhp, again i have no idea, i was at the dyno the day before when Ryan was mapping his car on race fuel though, It was a while back but iirc they could not get an output out of it for some reason. Either way i dont care, i am impressed at what Jessica has done with her car, i hope she sticks about and does not take offence at this thread, id like to read of her future updates. No doubt you will bang on about how some car has done a certain terminal at xxxbhp again in this thread, Dont aim any questions at me, i wont be replying.
  2. My god, I wonder if one day you will look back at this thread Scott and realise you don't have a clue of what you was banging on about, I look forward to seeing your times at next years suprapod.
  3. My terminals won't change much unless I up the boost, on a clean run with no miss shifts they are constantly about 150mph, best being 152mph. When I have run lower terminals at the likes of fast5 I was on less boost and different timing.
  4. Scott, if you are going to keep bringing my name into this then you need to get your facts right, pretty much everything you have said about myself is total rubbish. I'm busy at work now, will reply to what you have said this evening.
  5. Its a great club, you have the right to be proud JB
  6. Jessica. http://jezzica.bubbleroom.se/
  7. Im not going to argu the point anymore with you Scott, and certainly not over one car, I will say one more thing though as you keep referring to US times even though this car is in Sweden, Yanks have done 130mph terminals on stock twins without nitrous.
  8. Something else to throw in the mix, the owners name is Jessica and thats her in the pictures
  9. Im not saying it is 500 rwhp, I am saying there is no denying that the cars terminal suggests it has a very good output, its terminal is better than many cars over here whos owners claim to have more than 500rwhp.
  10. One thing you guys are missing here, talking about american bhp and downhill race tracks, the car in question does not live in USA, its in Europe.
  11. You are talking about one car that was setup on race fuel and a drag gearbox, im not going to try and take anything away from tdr, it was a good time. Trust me, anything in the 120's is good power, there is people on this forum with 700bhp and they struggle to get into the 120's. Jevansio had claimed to have in the region of that power and was doing 114-115mph terminals at fight club and he did about 50 runs, just have a look at the drag racing thread.
  12. TDR did a 114mph terminal, thats a fair way behind on the drag strip.
  13. Sounds right, i did a 10.9 at 126mph with 630 fly wheel bhp on SRR.
  14. You say that but the car did a [email protected] EDIT, it was a 6 speed car an all.
  15. T56 will fit with one of these adaptor plates. http://v-eight.com/tech_forum/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=1458 I would still rather a V160 though tbh.
  16. First day I ever drove a mkiv supra is my most memorable id say, picture below is the day i picked up my old red Supra from GT-cars, driving 700bhp T88 supra though the dartford tunnel was fun, from that moment on i was hooked, i will always have a supra in my life.
  17. Ive got the halfords professional ones coming now mate, Leigh is getting them for me Xmas present.
  18. Trouble with doing a diy conversion without planning permission or building regs will come when you try to sell the house, fire regs are a very important part of loft conversions, imo loft conversions are not to be messed with, building regs are there to help the next buyer to ensure everything is done to a good standard and to keep everyone safe.
  19. Try and pick up a low miles cheap NA lump, cranks are the same, i bought a complete na engine a little while back for £80
  20. I take you are doing it without planning permission or building regs? you cant use the rolls of insulation, regs in this area are 100mm celotex/kingspan between rafters and a layer of 40mm over the top or a layer thinsulex over the top on the recent loft conversions ive done.
  21. Lee said it feels a little stiffer but aside from that its much the same. I bought the triple so i had a back up clutch for if mine failed when drag racing next year, i snapped the bearing carrier a few weeks back so while the box was out to change that i decided to fit the new clutch.
