The only time ive had problems with turbo stall/surge is if i went to small on the hotside, Ryan got over it on my car by limiting boost lower in the rev range, It dont always show up on the dyno (rolling road) as the car wont be loaded as hard, thats one good thing about hub dyno's, they replicate road conditions better with longer runs. I changed to a bigger ar and it was fine after that, I just looked in your garage and it says .72, id change to the next size up, i suspect the turbo Ian is looking at would be fine as that will be a .82ar, cant say for sure though.

Looks amazing mate, showing everyone how a restoration project should be done, if my engine has to ever come out again i will be asking you to do the same to my car. You should put a thread up in readers cars on pistonheads, be good advertising, just dont be to blatant they loved my build thread. -

Talking of tyres, 325/50/15 MT is a monster tyre, i had to cut about 10mm off he back of the side pod just to get it on, then with a 10mm spacer i only have about 2 or 3 mm clearance a the back, im going to change to a 15mm spacer, strange at how much bigger they are than a BFG 325/50/15, god knows how people get them on stock body cars, they must hammer the hell out of the inner well.

I cant find any 3.13 uk diff's for sale, the one amir had turned out to be j-spec. No way i will get a bigger tyre on than 28", its mm tight everywhere.

I could but i dont like to rev it to high if i dont have to, at 8200rpm it does 123 in 3rd, id guess id need to go to 8700-9000rpm

The cage is not tagged Keron, it was a cusco that they modded in house. IIRC you are limited to 9.99 with a cage thats not tagged in the hks drag series, in rwyb you can go as fast as you like.

I know mate, but 3rd is the gear im interested in, i want to be able to crack 130 in 3rd without going to high with the rpm limit.

Are they easy to remove abz? could swap with you, my carbon tailgate is so light it flys up when i pull the boot trigger, i could do with swaping for some fooked ones.

Auto gearing is no good, i have loads of big case diffs, Is the UK TT6 geaing i need. Happy new year david.
