  1. Just realised im on the reserve list, need 110 people to drop out before i can get a spot, seems unlikely this is going to happen:D
  2. Anyone fancy this? looks to be a great turnout of cars, over 800 cars on the list. Im going. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=65&t=1102291&mid=57009&nmt=RE%3A+PistonHeads+Sunday+Service+12%2F02%2F12
  3. Compound system never seemed to take off, not sure why tbh. Or how about?
  4. Easier said than done when I have a stainless mid pipe and a Ti system.
  5. Its nothing to do with that matt, the 4" flange on the Ti is a different size to the one on the midpipe, the clamp wont clamp them evenly.
  6. To get 800 hub out of one im expecting to boost to still be above 2 bar, what did yours make at the hubs Jamesy?
  7. Im pretty sure its the same size band as the hks ti mate, i will measure it when its off.
  8. Can you refrain from trying to sell your car in my thread:p I remember what it was like, it was on my car first remember;) good turbo but there is better out now, the new 6768 is rated to 950 rwhp and still spools like any other 67, the 6765 is only rated to 755rwhp
  9. A quick google says it cant be done. http://en.allexperts.com/q/Welding-3487/Welding-titanium-carbon-steel-1.htm http://www.millerwelds.com/resources/communities/mboard/showthread.php?8739-can-stainless-steel-be-tig-welded-to-titanium
  10. Really? if thats the case i will drop it down my welders tomorrow.
  11. Ive not read of anything, its a pain that its titanium, otherwise id just cut the vband off and weld on a proper size one.
  12. Yes, its a copy of the hks ti, the vband is very small compared to the other 4" vbands ive seen, try and clamp them together and the vband clamps just bend over to one side, I think i got carbon monoxide poisoning today, feel blooming terrible
  13. Im not a TRD spoiler fan myself really, just fancy a change for a bit and it only takes a few min to swap out, that picture dont do it justice though looks better in the flesh i think, hopefully somebody will have some better pics from the LMM meet. More concerned about getting this exhaust to seal, its driving me up the wall, if this new vband dont work that exhaust will be heading for the scrap yard.
  14. That looks like it may do the job, just ordered one, cheers mate.
  15. Id leave it as it is, nice sparkling paint ftw.
  16. LMM meet was tight for space, Id not go again, ace cafe is far better imo. I Sold the old 76mm, that was a good turbo but old now, not much different in spool time than the one i have on the car now, I fancy a smaller turbo for a bit. No probs James.
  17. Bonnet is still in the bodyshop, Noel was not happy with the finish so stripped it right back, should be done sometime next week. I cant get the vband joint between the Ti exhaust and the midpide to seal right, it keeps leaking and today got worse, the fumes are getting in the car somehow and Ive been feeling sick since getting back from the LMM meet with the headache from hell Im going to have to sort something with it or get a new exhaust, wish id kept my BL now, anyone want to swap for a BL? On a plus note ive got all the bits today to put the boot back together, (thanks Brendan) it looked a bit of a mess since taking out the dynamat, i had the boot resprayed and now fitted all the plastics back in, carpet is hanging up outside, i jetwashed it. Also fitted a carbon blade TRD rear spoiler, I fancied a change for a bit, will get a beter picture next time the car is out, maybe there will be a couple of decent pics from todays LMM meet. Im looking to put a smaller turbo back on an all, i fancy some fast spooling fun for a bit, (keeping the GT42) thinking of the new 6766 or 6768 for 800 ish hub bhp. http://www.spracingonline.com/store/Precision_67mm_CEA_Billet_Turbo_6766/3677
  18. I'm not to far from Hayes and its nice over here, no frost and dry ish.
  19. I dont have any clearance issues, loads of room in there, its just the stock rears are max'd out on the settings and id still like to pull out another degree of camber, if i raise the back a little its fine but i like it low on my 18's
  20. Yeah i want the Ikea ones, £622 with delivery aint bad, would like some feedback about rhd japan before i order though.
  21. Thanks for the link, have you bought anything from rhd japan yourself?
  22. Do i need the upper and lower arm Lee?
