    Gearbox Failure

Noel at Nur Motorsport is breaking his Supra mate, he has a 6 speed box going.
  2. Could be, its very hard on the car, Ive killed a lot of diffs left foot braking on rolling burnouts. Your box did come out of a drag car though.
  3. I dont know your budget but if you want a very nice shell Noel told me today he is breaking the Nur Motorsport Supra, thats the same as mine, full carbon and wide arch.
  4. Rare rims list a 0 offset. http://www.rarerims.co.uk/wheelshop_products.asp?productid=33&rangeid=2&product=GTR%2DD
  5. Swap your volks for rota's, are you crazy?
  6. You will get next to nothing in the back of a hilux or navara, id go with the VW.
  7. Ahh got ya, auto is almost a swear word
  8. And die of carbon monoxide poisoning, nearly did that on the way home for the LMM meet.

  10. Dont get to close, them 335's kick up some serious amounts of tarmac, need to sort out a super loud back box for this an all. 1. JamieP 2. leet45single (paying as soon as the car comes back from lee) 3. Branners

What ecu do you have? edit, i see you have a AEM, they are only needed on the early version 1 aem's
  14. Yes SRR is dyno dynamics, trouble with rolling roads is the strapping makes a huge difference, i watched Ryan make another 40bhp on my V8 supra just by letting the straps off a couple of clicks, thats why i like hub dynos, the figures are spot on the same each and every time i go there.
  15. Dyno results always make for a great debate The over seas readings being hugely different is a load of rubbish for the most imo. Dyno makers dont make one dyno for europe and another for america, they are slightly different as european dynos are set to DIN and US ones are set to SAE, its only something like 0.1% different iirc. I dont see the need for using an engine dyno myself, Id rather keep the money in the bank.
  16. Just spotted this calculator, not sure how they got there info but my 1132 rhhp = 943 rwhp for a dyno dynamics. 1099 for a dynojet. http://mkiv.supras.org.nz/dyno.htm I still think hub bhp is pretty close to flywheel power, add 15% to the dyno dynamics number and it getting close to my hub figure. Anyone that is adding 15%+ to a hub figure is dreaming imo.
  17. Yes, SRD full race flowed, intake and exhaust manifold are port matched, head and block have been decked so compression will be a little higher.
  18. 70cc, stock 2jz is 2997cc "Theres no replacement for displacement" so they say, a big turbo can help though. I would have to check with Ryan but iirc mine did 270bhp on SRR as a NA, he mapped mine on zero boost when he started out on the latest map, thats a fully built, higher reving engine though.
