  1. Any compression change and it will need a remap mate, fueling will be different everywhere so Ryan said, he told me not to let it on boost at all.
  2. Smaller, HKS 1.2mm + head skim means higher compression, Lee worked out the difference but I forget what it is now.
  3. Different compression and stronger wastegate springs mate.
  4. Nah, needs a good clean and the suspension lowering, had to jack it up to get down Lee's drive.
  5. No.... its not one morning though, got to drive it home tomorrow with no boost, then drive to austec and back the next day for the meet, i think that would kill me If Ryan is not busy tomorrow i might be able to get him to tweek it over the phone, turn the boost down and pull a bit of timming out to keep it safe till i remap, see what happens tomorrow.
  6. Its all back up and running, picking it up in the morning, i cant use any boost till Ryan has remapped it so im not sure i will bring it to the Austec meet yet.
  7. Baldy is the best body shop I've ever used.
  8. Very nice mate, you keeping the BL on the car?
  9. I read a lot of threads on the L19's and all the yanks seem to torque them between 90-95ftlb but arp say you can go up to 105, it's nice to hear from other owners though so I've gone with the same as j2x has to be on the safe side, don't fancy pulling the cams again.
  10. Ok thanks for the advice, luckily the cams are not in yet, I just told lee to torque it down to 105ftlb, I found a thread on supraforum and 105 is what ARP say to torque it to as well.
  11. Really, Nero at Titan said to go 90ftlb, I said to Lee to do them to 95. 105ftlb sounds loads.
  12. Not bad considering Lee only started taking it apart yesterday
  13. Block cleaned up. Head crack tested and skimmed, 7 thou removed. L19 studs installed, they get torqued to 13ftlb. Head back on with hks gasket, torqued down to 95ftlb.
  14. Yeah the vette was behind a Supra though
  15. He was trying to keep up with a Supra an ran out of talent
  16. That's a pain, I'd sell the rad and put a stock one back on it or an aftermarket one that fits, anything else will be a performance compromise I think.
  17. Can't see the oil leak being anything serious if it's just been on low boost till now, give it a good clean up and pin point the leak.
  18. Might be head lift, is it fully mapped now? What head studs are in it?
  19. You sure it's coming from around the gasket? I'd clean the area up and then look for the leak, could be cracked head or block.
  20. I think it always has been with the big cams.
  21. Depends if the car has a fuel pressure sensor.
  22. Depends if the car has a fuel pressure sensor.
  23. Yeah the map will need checking, Ryan needs to put all the latest firmware upgrades on anyhow, it's not been upgraded in a few months.
