  1. Nice, Little man missed it?, does it drive just the same with the Syvecs?
  2. Demon tweeks have plenty in stock, spoke to them a couple of days back. http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Search.do?method=delegate&n=2117&p=249750&s=r888
  3. When i say new, i mean new as in not old stock or part worns, 2012 tyres.
  4. Straight line grip MT's, but they are not strictly road legal, no DOT mark, next best is new R888's imo. Chris wilson rates the michelin cups, ive never tried them, they dont come in the size i need. Main thing is to check the dates on the tyres.
  5. I never had any trouble at 700bhp, dont skimp on tyres.
  6. Thats because your tyres are my old tyres, they have also gone hard, new tyres are the way forward.
  7. Good quality new road tyres, my car is desperate for some new tyres, the pilot sports on there have loads of tread but they are a couple of years old now and gone hard (I only use them over winter) and they are terrible for traction.
  8. Fresh, quality tyres and you should be able to lay all that 600 hub bhp down from 2nd onwards, with my MT 325/50/15 DR's I can lay down all the power 2nd onwards.
  9. Width, in all your pictures the rears look seriously stretched on the wheel and very low profile, a tyre that fits the rim better will look and perform far better.
  10. If the FMS is leaking oil then the pump does need changing, If i was changing that i would freshen the engine at the same time if it was mine, seems odd for such a low mile car to have oil pump issues though.
  11. Why does the oil pump need changing?
  12. Nice looking car, them back tyres look like they are falling off the rim though, would look and drive a lot better with a proper set of fitting tyres.
  13. Lovely car and the owner is a true gent, shame you have to sell up Gary.
  14. That dont sound good, im guessing your car must have been in a pretty serious crash for the struts to be further apart?
  15. All tyres are the same, soon as they have had a few heat cycles they are shot, The reason whifbitz use to sell all there R888 part worn time attack tyres, they get hot and go hard.
  16. Yup, few months old and they give no grip for my car dyno run or not.

  18. I find on my car that brand new tyres of pretty much any make are always very good for grip, soon as they are a few months old i get zero grip no matter how much tread is left on them. Seems soon as they get hot once they are shot, Dyno is the worst, one dyno run and my tyres are rubbish for grip.
  19. I listed an advert a couple of days back and it was free, if you have been a member of the pistonheads forum a long time it's still free I read.
  20. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ACL-Race-Main-Bearings-Toyota-Supra-2JZ-GTE-Standard-Size-/160671402639?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2568c30a8f
  21. They wont insure normal cars, road legal track/drag cars.
  22. GT3076 would be better id have thought, that or maybe one of the small Billet PT turbos. http://www.spracingonline.com/store/Precision_55mm_CEA_Billet_Turbo_5557/3688 Also might be worth looking at the borg warner S200 series. And Holset HX35 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Compressor-Racing-RS35-Holset-HX35-turbo-600bhp-SPECIAL-OFFER-400-/260978219968?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cc3839bc0
