Last year i got the best 60ft of the the day other than stuarts drag car with huge slicks so i dont think its the car, glued track makes all the difference imo and is well worth doing.

It was prepped at the first couple of suprapods and good 60ft times was easy.

Id stick with the plan and wait for a nice manual, Ive had a lot of both and although the auto is a decent box manual is far better if you like enjoy driving a car properly, auto's are cheap for a reason. You dont see people doing auto conversions.

It was a good price mate, add up what you have spent on it though and i bet you could have got a lot better car for the money. You should have broke it and made a fortune;)

Your one has done a 100k and needs a shed load of work, the uk one has done a 3rd again, high mile cars are a pita for the most imo, so much better off spending a bit more for a quality low mile car in the long run i think.

Yup, few years ago you could, unlikely to find a nice one now for that money, I paid £6750 for my 30k, stock TT6 back in 2008 and i the pickings of a few at that price.
