  1. Can you not just extend your garage forward using the same garage door?
  2. Ive seen loads of members/freinds use the XS stuff over the years, some have got away with it, some have had nothing but trouble, if on a tight budget i can see why people would consider it. One thing to consider, go with a quality single kit and when you come to sell the car it will still be worth good money, put an XS power kit on it and devalue your car imo. PHR dont make that kit Lui has any more, this is the new street kit. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?254017-Release-of-new-street-turbo-kit
  3. Dont get me wrong, i love hub dynos, great tool for mapping, i just take the readings with a pinch of salt now, check this online calculator i found. http://mkiv.supras.org.nz/dyno.htm My 1132 at the hubs on a dynapack = 943 rwhp on a dyno dynamics rolling road, thats a huge difference and looking on the net im not the only one who thinks hub dynos massively overread. I think you are spot on though mate, i hear what you say about wheel spin, I too think hub bhp is about the same as flywheel.
  4. I did think that but now i like it with out them, just needs some racey seats and job done.
  5. I understand what you are saying, im not saying anyone has to buy any certain part/parts, my list is just what i would do, If you have the ability to make custom parts then fair play.
  6. Ryan would be best to speak to but as far as im aware it changes all sorts if it sees a problem, if the ecu sees a fuel pressure drop it will put the car in limp mode etc, i even logged coolant pressure on my car when we suspected head lift.
  7. You get about 5 min of logging and it overwrites itself, you can save a log whenever you want with the laptop.
  8. Id rather have all the sensors possible myself, any problems arrive and they are easy to deal with, I just email Ryan a log and he tells me whats wrong.
  9. You dont have to watch anything, S6 monitors all sensors.
  10. Sorry Mike I didnt mean for this to happen to your thread.
  11. I know how it all works Steve and ive been on many dynos, there is no confusion if you keep to the facts, if you go on a hub dyno just quote the RHHP, dont try and convert it to anything as its just a guess. IMO hub dynos over read like mad, put it this way, at low boost my car made 902 flywheel bhp at SRR, same boost a couple of days later it made 975rhhp on Dans Hub dyno.
  12. Steve, looking at your sig you know your car is 568bhp at the flywheel yes? go put it on a hub dyno and see what it makes if you dont belive me. My car is not 1200bhp, at a decent guess id say its just over a real 1000.
  13. You come over very arrogant which makes me no want to give you any advice tbh.
  14. Sorry mate i should just keep quiet sometimes, RHHP is no where near the same as RWHP, go put it on a rolling road and you will see. My car is about 1000 flywheel hp, yet makes 1130 at the hubs.
  15. Ahh hub bhp, about 650 at the flywheel then
  16. 677 rwhp is good going, what rolling road was that on Mike?
  17. As said above some seem to get away with it, not sure with DR's though. Is the supercharger install all done now then?
  18. 600bhp on a walbro will be pushing it, how many miles has your engine and box done? I cant see a stock auto lasting long at 600bhp. Nope, with VAT its something like £4100 last time i looked.
  19. Small case diffs are weak, some seem to get away with it though, putting DR's on will be the ultimate test. With DR's on i can snap a stock prop on a roll let alone a drag start.
  20. Off the top of my head, im sure ive missed a few bits. Add that lot up. Turbokit £4k Syvecs, few sensors and mapping about £3K Manual you will need a decent clutch £1500, if auto you will want a upgraded autobox such as the Titan one, not sure what they cost, £3000? Set of cams £600 Injectors £500 ish Decent exhaust £800 Intercooler £500 BOV £150 Bosch 044 £150 AFR, EGT and boost gauge £400 ish Oil cooler £200 I would do the oil and water pump with new belts £400 ish Labour id guess would be about £2000-3000
  21. Bottom one, I wish your diff luck. http://laracingparts.com/acatalog/Mickey_Thompson_E_T__Street_Radial_Tires.html
