Is there much cost difference between the 1uz and GTE conversion? GTE kicks the crap out of the 1uz imo, in a supra the 1uz is not very fast, TT engine with minimal mods would murder one.

Id always go for the lowest mile car you can find if you are going to keep it a while, I've had lots of supras and as with all cars the lower the miles, the nicer the car has been, people say miles don't matter but I'm betting they are the ones with high mile cars.

As far as i was aware mine is fitted as it would on a stock intake, just in a different place.

Mine is under the intake, Lee welded a plate on, you can run without one, i never had one on my red supra and it was never an issue.

New do-luck wing wont be here for a while, another 3 weeks to make and 8 weeks on a boat to get here, i asked about air freight but they wanted an extra £550. The car is going back into SRD in a few days for the turbo downsize. Picked up these carbon door cards from Keron, big thanks to Ricky49 for picking them up from Keron and dropping them to me, owe you one mate.

How much bhp are you planning to run?? you can make well over a 1000bhp on super unleaded, 95 has got to do 600-700 id have thought.

Manual, clean and 400+bhp is a nice start in supra ownership, budget 10 grand minimum for a car with decent miles, I like single turbo power myself, Just be careful what you buy if going with a modded car, lots of cars out there that wont be setup well.

Good move, ive had a few evo's over the years, 4RS, 7GSR and a 9GT but nothing comes close to a good Supra.

My guess is its because you are trying to run a single setup with a stock ecu.
