  1. I agree it does spool well, it dont look like you are making full boost anywhere near 2000rpm though, put a log from the ecu to prove it and i will take back that statement. Looking at the numbers above, between 2600 and 3000rpm you only make about 20 odd bhp, thats not a car on full boost, 3000rpm + and it starts to pick up it legs. Very quick spooling is very much over rated imo, when you are going for it the car is always in the high rev range between gear changes, ive been though many setups and imo the 5000 rpm plus numbers is what makes for a fast car, a big rpm range helps an all, even with my "laggy" 76mm i still have a fairly large area of the rev range where my car is on full boost. Quick spooling is nice if you're a bit of a grandad and like pottering around in the low rpm range;)
  2. Thats a lot of work/money spent on your car to get whats about 40bhp over a decent bpu car, massive waste of time imo, put a bigger turbo on it and make the most of the supporting mods.
  3. I dont know what it is, it just dont seem to sit right with them wheels, maybe it just needs lowering and bigger tyres, Jamesys car looks mental with the do-lucks.
  4. Never got an email back from boxhill.
  5. OEM in mine and staying that way. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?662681-Superspark-coil-packs-with-hks-twinpower-dli
  6. I cant do the sunday, i like to spend at least one day a week doing something with the family.
  7. Whats dragoncol about? The ring is something i need to do one day, even if its just to say to myself ive done it.
  8. A big summer pub BBQ meet is whats needed to restore the love
  9. Please dont let me know, i dont want to have to report you to the mods again. Feel free to go to suprapod
  10. Id rather keep my supra, its just the meets seem to be getting thin on the ground, the excitement around the meets seems to be gone, ive hardly used it this year, no ace cafe meets anymore, the fairmile bbq is gone an all, i wish i had done dragonball now.
  11. Sorry, i didnt see your name on the list, great you are taking part, i bet you love it
  12. Great you guys are making the long trip, but to be honest i dont think spectators make a great deal of difference to what its costs the club, the club needs people to sign up to the drag racing to cover the costs, that way this event can go on for many years.
  13. Other clubs seem to manage these meets, cant be just mkiv owners that are skint can it? Maybe its a sign of these cars getting old, the club scene is a huge part of why i have stayed with Supras so long, if thats not going to be there anymore maybe its time to move on, I cant see R35 owners complaining about fuel costs.
  14. Numbers are not looking to good, mods have said it may never happen again if things dont pick up. It would be such a shame to lose Suprapod, its the best Supra meet of the year imo. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?267086-Suprapod-2012-7th-July-at-Santa-Pod Whats with the low numbers at events now? We dont even have a Japshow club stand anymore.
  15. Im just going to run as much boost as i can, 40+psi if is still making power, I doubt intake temps will be an issue, mine has always run very cool.
  16. Its not a 6466 or 6766 as somebody else mentioned.
  17. Sorry, im keeping the turbo spec to myself for now. Im not sure, i know you cant buy a prop without one, comes as a full kit only.
  18. I dont know what its going to make tbh, will have to wait and see, I want 750bhp minimum, 900bhp would be nice but the turbo might not do it.
  19. I aint got a clue then mate, good luck with sorting it.
